I am thankful to Parul University for providing me with the best guidance, says Dashrath Singh

After passing my 12th boards with first-class division, I was searching for a good college to do my undergraduate course. In the end, I found Parul University. There is no entrance exam required to take admission in Parul University.
I completed my secondary education in Bangalore. In 12th, I thought of joining the medical course but one of my friends suggested me to go for forensics. I found that the course is about crime investigation and has a lot of scope in future. In our country, there are a lot of unsolved cases of forensics and this subject is very interesting. So after my results, I thought of pursuing forensics as my undergraduate course. But there were only a few colleges for forensics in Bangalore. However, after going through the Shiksha website I found quite a few options to pursue my course.
I selected two colleges - Lovely Professional University and Parul University. I liked Parul University more as it provides quality education and has a good placement record. The campus is also amazing. It was my dream to pursue forensics course and Parul University helped me in fulfilling it. I am also thankful to my parents for giving me the opportunity to study in one of the best universities in India.
After passing my 12th boards with first-class division, I was searching for a good college to do my undergraduate course. In the end, I found Parul University. There is no entrance exam required to take admission in Parul University. The students having cleared 12th boards with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects from a recognised board is eligible for admission here.
I also applied in Jain University for admission but the fees was too high (4 lakh for three years). So, I decided not to take admission here.
In college, the classes are from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. During our break time, we go to the canteen or library. We also have practical classes for better learning of the crime scene. These practical sessions are conducted both outside the college premises and inside the college labs.
The university organizes various events like seminars, workshops and training for students of different fields. I usually go to the library or the study hall to read books in my free time. Weekly tests are conducted for every subject by the professors regularly.
I love playing handball. Every year the university conducts a sports event called 'Dhoom'. The students and faculty of all the departments in the college take part in the event.
The university takes students for 4-week summer internships every year in foreign countries such as Germany, Canada and the US.
This summer internship is very helpful for further studies as they are certified courses. Apart from this, the best thing about our university is its campus which is of 150 acres. There are different places on the campus like the garden where the students can sit and relax for some time. The campus also has a tea stop where students can grab a cup of tea or coffee while indulging in a little conversation with their friends.
