Calcutta University accepts its own entrance exam for admission to various UG and PG courses. It is conducted once a year for students to get admitted to UG, PG, or doctoral-level programs in various streams, such as arts, science, engineering, etc. It is important for students to appear for the entrance test if they want a seat at the institution. 

The MSc placement report 2024 is not released as of now. TANCET exam for MBA admission have five sections. Each section of the TANCET exam have an equal weightage. Anna University provides 20 per cent weightage to all five sections of the exam. UniPune admission to a majority of PG and UG courses is based on the Online Entrance Exam (OEE) conducted by the University. The university offers MCA, MMM, Advanced Diploma, MPH, E-MBA, LLM and M.Lib.I.Sc, among others. Admission to a few courses is completely based on merit in the previous qualifying exam.
