No, candidates cannot take direct admission in Delhi University. The university offers admission into UG and PG programmes based on scores achieved in CUET (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by NTA. Candidates need to register and counsel through the university's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.

Hindu College, Delhi University is not expensive at all. The total tuition fee for BA courses are INR 86,000. For BSc, the fee is INR 87,400 - 93,800. Admission to these courses is determined by entrance exam results in addition to merit. The CUET test is approved for admission to both UG and PG degrees at PGDAV College. For shortlisted individuals who meet the requirements to be admitted to PGDAV College, an online counselling phase will also be held.
Merit-based students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds as well as athletes of exceptional ability are awarded scholarships to PGDAV College. A reduction in tuition is given according to the student's overall performance. Scholarships are available to students at the time of admission.

UPES (Admission Office) accepts various entrance exam scores for admission to different courses. For B.Tech. admissions, the university accepts UPESEAT, JEE, Board Merit, SAT, and CUET scores. For MBA admissions, the university accepts CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, and UPESMET scores. Admission to M.Des. and B.Des. courses is based on the valid score of CEED or UPES DAT followed by a presentation and interview. BBA admission is done through UPESMET-UG and through National Level Tests. Admission for LLB courses is based on the score of ULSAT or CLAT/LSAT scores.
