CAT is one of the accepting exams for CUSAT MBA admission. There are two types of CAT accepted for MBA. One is CAT conducted by conducted by IIM for admission to MBA programme. The other is CUSAT CAT conducted by Cochin University of Science and Technology. CUSAT CAT is accepted for MBA and other courses except PhD and Diploma programmes. Now the question is, if it is mandatory or not.

No, it is not. Aspirants who have passed KMAT or CMAT can also take admission to MBA programme. Aspirants shortlisted based on the entrance exam score are further evaluated in group discussion and personal interview round.

The admission process is Candidate who have passed plus two or equivalent examination recognised by the M.G. Admission to BSW programme of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous) is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Government norms of admission requirements will be observed in the case of SC/ST and other reserved categories.
