I love PAU and its faculty.
Placements: From starting, they take students who had 50 percentage in 12th class. I do not know about the proper estimate but I think the starting salary is 25000 for teachers. I do not know about any of the visiting companies. One of the best role of my degree is dietitian. I do not know about any package offered. A total of 50% students got internships.
Infrastructure: Infra and facilities are provided. All the classrooms are neat and clean. Library is very good. We get more knowledge from our library. I was a day scholar but I know about their mess food. The food is tasty and clean. Medical facilities are also good. Sports and games are also great.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful. They help every student in their free time. All the teachers are well qualified. They have great knowledge. The courses are good and relevant. Faculty provides us basic as well as professional knowledge. They help students to stand up and get opportunities or trained in a particular field.
Other: I chose this course because of my own interest in cooking. One of the best thing about my course is the practical part where I cooked food with delicious taste. There is no change I want to get amended. Events are also organised in PAU. Scholarships are also provided to the students who are in need.

Faculty is non-cooperative. No placements. You will have to setup your own business after the course
Placements: Not a single is recruiting us. If anyone gets a job by mistake then they get the highest salary upto only 10k INR. Internship is necessary in our course but hospitals charge extra fees for internship. There is no future here for average students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi not working. The labs lack equipments and material required for the practical experiment is to be purchased by the students themselves. There are a few books in the library and there is no canteen. There are less toilets for boys.
Faculty: Teachers are not well qualified as they are the students of home science. The course is relevant but not officially qualified for further Masters and job opportunities. The course doesn’t make students industry ready.
Other: The campus is good and events are organized to provide opportunities to the talented young students.

Facilities should be provided in the bathrooms. Classrooms should be clean.
Placements: 1. 60 percent students have been placed. 2. The highest salary is 25000 INR, the lowest is 8000 and the average is 15000. 3. Hospitals visit here. 4. Dietician roles in companies and in hospitals. 5. The highest package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA and the average is 3.5 LPA in the college. 6. 40 percent students got internship from our course in Forever like companies.
Infrastructure: 1. The cooking labs are provided by the college, cleaned classrooms and book bank for the course related books and we can sit there for study. 2. Good quality of facilities are there in our hostel with good quality of food. Sports and games are of good quality.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they mostly have PhDs and Masters degrees. They have enough knowledge to teach and they have good teaching quality. This course is not curriculum relevant. It does not make the students industry ready. So they go abroad due to the lack of jobs.
Other: I chose my course by mistake. I wasn’t interested at the beginning but some things are good in my course including different diets. The curriculum for this course should be changed. Campus fests and events are not good here. There is partiality here in activities and scholarships.

Really a good institute, which is worth your money.
Placements: There are no on-campus placements in this University. As the name of the university is well recognised, you can get a job only after good efforts are made. Companies visit only for the students in agriculture department as that degree is under ICAR, but from past 2years, Nutrition and Dietetics have also been registered under ICAR and scope of placements is very high in future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is very good, but the food labs are not very much equipped. There is no Wi-Fi facility in the hostel rooms whereas it is available in the common rooms. Food in the campus is really very tasty. For sports persons, there is very good facility for practice. Medical facilities are available for free for the University students.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful. Their qualifications are very high. Most of them are doctorates, and the environment is also very friendly. The number of teachers in the college are little less. The students get exposure to hospitals. Surveys are done by the students at graduation level also.
Other: Every semester, 1or 2 events are organised in the college. The environment is always energetic. The days of youth festival are the best ones. The students get many opportunities in cultural activities, sports activities at higher levels.

It is the best university in Punjab.
Placements: You can get jobs at hospitals or can pursue further studies. The last session of the course includes internships at different hospitals. To practice your knowledge and get a good amount of experience to give a head kick to your career. M.Sc courses have many opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too good. You get hostel facilities, Wi-Fi, various sites to visit Kike museum, many eating spots like cafes and canteens, and banking services. The security is good, and also provides a library with lots of books. You can get cycles for exploring the university at the entrance.
Faculty: The student to teacher ratio is near about 40 for 1 and teachers are very helpful and provides the best source of information. They conduct practicals to make us understand various concepts about food and nutrition-related information and knowledge. Also, help us to adapt new changes in our university life.
Other: NSS activities, athletic meets, regular sports matches and yearly youthfest and Kissan mela are organised in the college.

With PAU, everything is the best.
Placements: Regarding placements, there is a negative review. BSc Hons in nutrition & dietetics does not have any campus placements. Students do internships at various hospitals, for which they do not get any stipend, rather, the students have to pay in order to be an intern. However, the degree is good. One can always try for off-campus placements but the expected pay can only be up to 20,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average as compared to many other institutions. However, the students get a whole lot of exposure to extracurricular activities including sports. Students play and represent at national as well as international levels. The university authorities are very cooperative and give additional marks to such students who excel in their field of interests. The hostel and food are good as compared to other government institutes.
Faculty: The student-faculty ratio is 30:1. Teachers are all PhD holders with great exposure, experience and knowledge. They are updated with the latest techniques. Also, PAU being a research university always keeps the students informed about the latest developments in particular fields. The faculty team which is actually composed of scientists, publishes various research papers and conducts various experiments. PAU ranks 3rd in India in the research field.
Other: PAU gives a 4-year BSc degree unlike any other university which makes the students easier to go for scholarships abroad. The degree is equivalent to that of US and UK. PAU alumni do not face any obstacle during interviews. The university is a brand in itself.

It is a good college with excellent teachers.
Placements: A CGPA of 8 is required for placements. An entrance test is taken at every hospital. If students pass, they work as interns first, and then they get jobs. Communication skills and basic knowledge are needed. There are such courses that will enhance your capability to improve your understanding. Seminars and webinars are conducted.
Infrastructure: The library is good. Labs are available for practical purposes. Classrooms are good. The quality of the food in the mess is not good.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 50%. You have to get 50 marks in theory as well as in practicals.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to change the way people think about health myths and facts. Many activities are to be done, like participating in a youth festival. They win prizes and get certificates.

Valuable university, career oriented.
Placements: Placement percentage of university is high. With good average annual packs as the value of a degree from this university is high. There is vast scope in this field mainly becoming a nutrition other than that we can start our healthy food establishment. Even go for food scientists, health inspectors, professor and many more.
Infrastructure: University campus is too huge, buildings are well maintained, proper hygiene and cleanliness is maintained. Classes are quite spacious, well aerated with 9 fans in big rooms and 6 in smaller ones with good lighting, even all labs are maintained good with proper equipments. University have a vast 3 floored central library and separately book banks and libraries of each college. Additionally there are 2 central reading halls with peaceful environment for student for self studies. Sports facilities are too good with international grounds for some sports, separate grounds for each sport, proper attention is given on health of students. University too have 2-3 cultural, soil and department museums. Hospital facility is also available but its quite unapproachable. Greenrey at the university is a must mention point, you can see trees and greenery everywhere, all around you, no matter at which point of university you are standing. Natural beauty of the university gives a sense of being at a good place moreover it keeps the weather here well maintained. Hostels are good enough but without AC facilities. We can install our personal coolers in the rooms. Rooms are spacious, mess food is home like and hygienic.
Faculty: Our teaching staff is well experienced with proper qualifications, good at interacting with the students. Good environment is provided in the classroom with weekly interaction sessions. Other than this there is a head for every co-curricular activity, one who are interested can easily approach the heads. Course outline gor every cousre of degree is provided which makes us ready for the on coming classes, moreover enough knowledge is imparted not only through notes but market surveys and assignments to makes us industry ready.
