My college is very good according to me.
Placements: Many students were placed. The college has great placement options, and they also provide good future settlements to the students. Top companies for my course will be Nestled, Bonn, Verka, Mother Diary, etc. And roles offered can be food inspector and food quality checker.
Infrastructure: Very good facilities are available, like neat and clean classrooms with smart board availability in every class. Also, the library is itself a home to many good publications; everything is provided there, and I like my college's discipline very much; no ragging is there.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, always supportive, kind, and noble; they always motivate us towards our future goals, and they also always make us learn new things. Sometimes they become strict, but they have true affection towards us, and each and every teacher is really very nice.

It is the best college with good faculty members and a campus. It provides the best 3 years.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed. Many different and high-class companies come not fixed about names. The top recruiting companies are Cadbury and Haldiram, and different roles are offered in this course. It depends on the students what kind of work they want to opt for future.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are provided. Laboratories are well maintained and all the equipment is available which is the most important aspect of our course. The quality of food available in the canteen is average.
Faculty: The teachers are good in this college. They teach well except for the chemistry department. This course curriculum is relevant and kind of makes students industry-ready. According to the undergraduate course, the college is fulfilling all the needs and requirements for this course.
Other: I opted for this course as I want to do further master in this course. Different fun along with course-related events should be organised for our department so that students can actively participate and show their presence.

This is the best college in Tricity.
Placements: It provides placements and has placements cell drive so a lot of options are provided. Our course includes an internship after exams one month students have to go for internships which is a part of the college assessment. I have my internships in Verka Milk Plant, Mohali. It has the best time learned and useful and it provides hands-on training.
Infrastructure: Many extracurricular activities are performed and conducted in our college. They are very helpful academic wise like many workshops are conducted on food safety and its awareness. Hostel is provided and there are many seats provided on the basis of merit first and well maintained as college is given swachta rank 1 in Chandigarh can share a hostel room with two or more and many PGs are nearby which provide food.
Faculty: Positive remarks are good academics and extracurricular activities. Teachers are well qualified and have much knowledge regarding the subjects which help students a lot in clear doubts. MCM Dav is best it is very clear in my mind to take admission there and the course which I selected is interesting and different from other streams Microbial and food technology and in today's world food technology has much evolved. The admission process is merit-based.

The infrastructure of the college is good. Placements are good for B.A. not for science students.
Placements: Our course doesn't offer placements. Placements are good for B.A. but not for science students. We get 1-month internships in July where ever students want, and mainly it should be a food company or a testing lab as our course is specialised in microbiology and food technology.
Infrastructure: Students are provided with both microbiology and food technology labs, where students used to test various food samples. The library is also available with amazing books. Hostel facilities are really good, except the food, we have our dance team, NCC, etc.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are well qualified and knowledgeable, and their guidance as always really helps students. The college has highly qualified teachers with great working experience. Students go for internships in which they deal with various industries which makes the students' industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course as food is a vast sector, and you get so much to explore. And the best part is the level of growth in this sector is never-ending. There should be proper books for this course as students are provided with different notes which makes it difficult for them to learn and understand. More exposure should be given like industry visits, workshops and most importantly, placements. Many events are organised in the college like Diwali fest and Meraki. Extracurricular activities are also there, and they provide scholarships as well. Surrounding and atmosphere are nice, and last year we got the award as a no-1 college in Swachata throughout the Tricity.

Great facilities with awesome exposure to industrial sector.
Placements: We, in 3 years of our degree, will do two 1-month internships every year provided by our college in different food industries including Cadbury, Verka, Amul, Mrs Bector, and many more. The campus placement is not available for UG programs in our college B.Sc students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very well-maintained and have sufficient facilities like sports, canteen, medical. We have a properly equipped lab and are very well-maintained. Our college has grant of star college status from DBT. The hostel facilities are also very good with 6 hostel blocks having a good number of rooms. The quality of food in the canteen is very good. I didn’t face any issue related to the infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty is very good and helpful and has a great experience and knowledge. Teachers are very interactive and active. They try to give us practical knowledge and every time try to improve hand on skills. We get very good industry exposure as we visit many know industries.
Other: I am very happy that I got chance to study here. Our department of the microbiology and food technology is excellent. They provide us with lots of opportunities to participate in some workshops and industrial visits. They provide us with good opportunities to participate in games and various cultural events at various zonal and university level.

You are eligible to take admission in this college. But the problem is the higher cut-off. Cut-off goes high every year. So, would will suggest you apply and wait for the second or third round, as in the first round it will be very difficult for you to get a seat in this college.

For applying to B.Sc Microbiology or food technology biology is necessary. It would be considered. Otherwise, you cannot apply without bio. All the best.

Hi, You are definitely eligible to apply for this college, but as cut off for MCM DAV is high so you might have to struggle getting a seat with this score. Good luck.
