Moreover, the participating colleges will also publish the category-wise merit list on the basis of the MCAER State merit list. The merit list is based on the following criteria:
Merit Scores - Candidates securing 55 per cent marks out of total merit if belonging to the General category will be shortlisted. The candidates belonging to OBC/ SC/ ST categories will be shortlisted on securing at least 50 per cent marks out of total merit.
CET Weightage - MAUEB will give 70 per cent weightage to marks secured by the candidates in MCAER PG CET 2024, and the remaining 30 per cent weightage will be given to scores obtained by the candidates in their qualifying examination.
The exam authority will share more details regarding the evaluation of the merit list, tie-breaking methods and admission process-related details after the result declaration only.
