Dear Sathvik,
Universities in US holistically evaluates applicant's profile. They will evaluate your grades, all round activities, extracurriculars, SAT scores and so on. Your grades according to Indian percentage system is good enough. You must also take SAT, your SAT scores will be very important and you will also need TOEFL. If you go through a good university website you will find the kind of students they admit. So, develop your overall profile.
Best wishes
