There is a big list of colleges which conducts Aeronautical Engineering degree courses. You can chose between IIT Mumbai, PEC Chandigarh, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Manipal Institute of Technology an Amity Institute of Aerospace. IIT Powai is the best among all institutes in India for Aeronautical Engineering.

Aeronautical Engineering will be the best choice if you target to work with companies like Boeing etc. Then you have to move to USA. If you are Graduate, try to go for MS in USA and then PhD

To decide on the course, you should analyse your strengths, career goals, interests, personality, aptitude and ability. If you decide based on these parameters you will put in your best effort and will be successful in your chosen field.

Yes aeronautical engineering here is pretty good. There are a lot of facilties and even the professors are good. Yes, we have NCC in the college.

Hi Hrishikesh,
A course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is not a degree but a license course and only those institutes approved by the DGCA can impart training in this subject.
This training course is rigorous and only a few institutes offer training on heavy aircraft and jet engines.
-> Eligibility :
A student from the Science stream with a minimum of 50% (some institutes need 60%) in class 12th is eligible for a 3 year certificate course on aircraft maintenance engineering conducted by training schools approved by the DGCA.
-> Some of the institutes offering the course are :
-School of Aviation Science and Technology
