You may clear state/national level engineering entrance examinations with a good score for admissions to a B Tech/BE programme in IITs or reputed engineering colleges. Some deemed universities conduct separate admission tests. AMAeSI is a professional membership considered equivalent to B Tech in industry. As for the job opportunities are concerned, well there are reservation everywhere but this does not restricts you from getting a good job opportunities provided you have good academic track record and fulfill other requisites as require by the companies based on the vacancies available.

You can appear and qualify as AMAeSI (Associate Membership of Aeronautical Society of India) which is considered at par to B.E. or B.Tech programme in Aeronautical Engineering by Government of India. You can then find jobs as engineer at Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL), Air India, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), BHEL, DRDO, Indian Air Force (IAF), Coast Guard and Airline Industries.If qualify as AMAeSI then you are also eligible to apply for M.Tech Admission in IITs through GATE, at Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, as well as at Madras Institute of Technology.
