No, direct admission to a four-year B.Tech course at MIT-WPU is not possible. For admission to B.Tech course, MIT-WPU accepts a valid score of various state/ national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main/ MHT CET/ PERA CET/ NEET UG. Those who are willing to get admission to this course must appear and qualify for the respective entrance exams. However, direct admission is valid for BTech (Lateral Entry) course, where students are offered direct admission to the second year of B.Tech via merit scores obtained in Class 12. No one cannot get a direct admission. Entrance exam is required for any direct admission. JEE MAINS is conducted by the CBSE board in India for admission to B.Tech programmes and many private universities in India provide direct admission to B.Tech programmes through marks of class 12th. In any case, the minimum percentage that can be admitted is not fixed and depends on the university. There is an option for Direct Admission for students who secure a particular percentage as per the Bahra University policy.
