I think you are currently studying in 11th or 12th or may be High School. Already you may have read many Answers which said IITs, NITs and many other Good Engineering Colleges. But I would like to suggest to join Indian Armed Forces as an Engineer if you are interested to become an Engineer. Really is a very exciting and most valuable Profession of India.
