No, Central University of Jharkhand is entrance-based. For admission to the BCom course, the university only accepts CUET UG scores. Thus, candidates seeking admission to the programme must present a valid CUET UG score. Other than this, it is also essential that students fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements set by the university.

With 466 marks, securing a B.Com (Hons) seat in a popular Delhi University college as a general category student is highly unlikely. The cutoffs for B.Com (Hons) are typically very high, often above 700, especially for prestigious colleges like those in North Campus. As per my knowledge CUET cut-off for the BA course at Amar Singh College was not officially published in detail last year. However, I can guess it may estimated that the required CUET scores for the BA (General) programme were between 160 to 170 for general category students. The cut-offs at Amar Singh College were lower compared to top-tier universities. Exact cut-off scores can change each year based on the number of applicants, available seats, and reservation categories. For the most accurate information, check the official college website or the Cluster University of Srinagar.

However, candidates with a legitimate CUET score for the respective programme might have an edge over the others. A score of 488 is below the usual cutoff for B.Tech at most central universities (typically 300–400+ marks). While admission into popular branches like CSE and EE is unlikely, you may consider less competitive engineering programs at smaller central or state universities. Fill choices in CSAS counselling carefully, focusing on institutes with lower cutoffs.
