For the candidate who wants to go for Diploma in Electrical Engineering, the candidate must have passed the 10th standard with at least 50% and pass the Diploma Entrance Exam. Candidates must posses the Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering as a qualification. Apart from this, the candidates are also to write state or national level entrance test and secure the passing marks as prescribed necessary to take up Electrical Engineering courses in the UG and PG levels.

The lastest information for Diploma in Electrical Engineering at VJTI Mumbai is you need to have National Senior Certificate with a minimum of 28 and above APS points with minimum of 4 for Mathematics, Physical Science and English.

Yes there are government colleges which offer part time Diploma in electrical engineering. The best Institute in Delhi for the same is Delhi skill and Entrepreneurship University. This is the best government Institute of Delhi, in which you can do Diploma in Electrical engineering with a very reasonable fees.There are many campus of this university located in Delhi like rohini campus, ashok vihar campus, okhla campus etc. Another University in Uttar Pradesh is Mohammad Ali jauhar university, it's a private university offering part time Diploma in electrical engineering. It's also one of the best Institutes of UP.

You should accept the Electrical branch in NIT Silchar rather than CSE in IIITS as NIT Silchar is way older and has more reputation than IIITs. You should study hard in the 1st year in NIT Silchar as 1st year is common in every department and if you will be able to score more than 9 CGPA then you can apply for branch transfer in CSE. NIT Silchar has a facility of branch transfer in 2nd year so you can go for CSE in 2nd year.

Yes, candidates who have completed a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any other branch of engineering can pursue a BA Economics. They should have secured at least 50% marks as it is an essential eligibility criterion to be fulfilled to secure admission to BA Economics.
The candidates should make an informed decision as the choice of a bachelor’s degree would determine one’s career path. Those who do not wish to pursue a B.E./BTech or a BCA can opt for a Humanities course such as BA Economics.

The lab subjects covered in the IITB Electrial Engineering course are related to the specialisation. Each of the semester has some lab subjects in it. Students have to pass the lab subjects separately to get admission. Some of the lab subjects included in the course curriculum are:
- Physics Lab/Chemistry Lab
- Digital Systems Lab
- Analog Circuits Lab
- Power Engineering Lab
- Communications Lab, etc.
