Vellore Institute of Technology has released the VITMEE admit card 2024 online at the official website. Successfully registered candidates can download the VITMEE admit card through application number and date of birth. Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their VITMEE admit card 2024 along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre.

For Engineering, if a candidate applies to seek admission on the basis of test other than SITEEE then he/she need not register for SITEEE; rather he/she may apply directly to the concerned institute through the institute website.

Applicants appearing in the exam are advised to go through the VITMEE exam pattern for their preparations. There will be 100 questions in VITMEE 2026 exam. 80 questions will be asked from the core subject, while 20 questions will be asked from the English language.  

Yes, GATE exam score is valid for admissions to M.Tech courses at Vellore Institute of Technology. Applicants can also apply through VITMEE exam score 2026. Candidates appearing through the GATE score must upload their scorecard at the time of filling the application form.   

Candidate must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies from any recognised Board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).

No, Vellore Institute of Technology will not entertain any request for change in exam centre after issuing VITMEE admit card. Candidates can add the centre choices at the time of filling application form. Candidates are advised to fill exam centre preference carefully to avoid any problem later.

The conducting authority - The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will release the VITMEE application form for MTech admission on the official website. Applicants must visit the official website to fill out the application form at vit.ac.in. The form process comprises the registration process, followed by uploading of the documents and payment of the application fees. Also, candidates are advised to keep a copy of the filled application for future reference.
