The University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET) of Guru Nanak University offers B.Tech programs. This institution does not offer a B.Tech in biotechnology specialisation. Instead, it offers B.Tech in the following specializations:

10. Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Renewable Energy & Electrical Vehicles)
11. Civil Engineering (Construction & Management)
12. Mechanical Engineering (Robotics & Automatic Vehicles)
You can either apply for these specializations or you can apply to some other colleges for biotechnology. For example, you can apply to the Nizam College of Hyderabad.

Students from Karnataka seeking lateral entry into B Tech programs under merit seats must apply for the Common Eligibility Test to receive government counseling. Students from both Karnataka and other states are eligible for direct admission to the B.Tech programme through management quota. By contacting educational advisory centers or institutions, you can apply for a lateral entry programme under the management quota. When compared to merit fees, the management fee is slightly more. Students can only choose lateral admission into their respective specialty.
