For admission to the BDes course, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Footwear Design and Development Institute, Noida conducts an aptitude test called FDDI AIST (in-house entrance exam) for admission.

Yes, BDes is available at FDDI Noida. This programme is offered for a duration of four years. Moreover, the mode of education  is full-time. Apart from this, under this programme, the institute offers three specialisations for students to choose from. These specialisations are BDes (Footwear Design & Production), BDes (Leather, Lifestyle & Product Design), and BDes (Fashion Design). Admission to all these courses is done via ASIT exam.

At FDDI Noida, the BDes programme is spread across three specialisations. These specialisations are BDes (Footwear Design & Production), BDes (Leather, Lifestyle & Product Design), and BDes (Fashion Design). Amongst all, the highest number of seats are made available for BDes (Footwear Design & Production) and BDes (Fashion Design). For each specialisations, the institute offers 80 seats.

Admissions to all the courses offered by FDDI Noida are done based on ASIT scores. Thus, candidates seekingadmission must appear for the ASIT exam. The fee to apply for the exam differs based on the candidate's category. Check beloew the category wise application fees:

The Foot Design and Development Institute (FDDI) offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Retail and Fashion Merchandise. The eligibility criteria for this course is that the candidate must have Bachelor's design in any discipline from any institute or University recognised by law in India.

Students who have appeared in any valid National level entrance examination score card are allowed for participating in Admission process for UG & PG programmes for the academic session 2024-25.
The criteria for processing score obtained against the FDDI AIST (All India Selection Test) Rank are as follows:

The aggregate percentile of any national level entrance examination score may be equated at par with FDDI percentile. Marks corresponding to the nearest percentile of the candidate who appeared in the FDDI AIST may be allowed.
