Bangalore is home to the private RNS Institute of Technology, which was founded in the year 2001. Private Engineering College Mahindra University, Hyderabad is situated in Bahadurpally, Hyderabad. It was started in 2013 and has a connection to JNTU. As of 2019, MEC has seen two batches successfully finish.
The candidates' All India Ranks are used to determine who gets admitted to the B.Tech programme. This is determined based on the JEE Mains score and the SAT score, the cutoff for both the exams are :-
