You can't decide anything with your marks, you should know about your interest. And your interest should be your engineering branch although if you are pass with 50%+ then you can take admission in any branch of B.Tech but you have to approach private colleges so please choose wisely as per your interest.

JEE advance gave only 2 chances for attempt JEE advance exam. One is with the class 12th and another one is after passes class 12th. But JEE Mains gave 3 chances for attempt JEE Mains exam.

No, there would not be any problem in dropping an year for JEE. And I am not sure about which interview you are talking about but No one will ask about reason for your drop and even then somebody asks you then the answer is obvious "I want to improve my JEE score"
You just have to give an affidavit for your drop which is easily made. I also have dropped an year and there is no need to give someone any reason for that.
