Of course, you can apply for B. Tech or BE in any college or university of India for lateral entry. Every university allows a Diploma student in any stream to take a lateral entry admission in 2nd year of B. Tech. So, you are eligible for that. So, don't get confused. Admission in VIT or any other reputed university is purely based on their entrance exam. So, you have to clear VITEEE to get admission in VIT. For more information, you can check the college website.
