The Round 1 cutoff for NIFT 2025 at NIFT Patna seat allocation has been officially announced for NIFT admissions. The cutoff was established for various categories, encompassing the All India quotas. Among applicants under the General All India quota, the closing ranks for designing specialisations in Round 1 ranged from 396 to 2133.

Of all the offered specialisations, the two most competitive in the initial round were Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M) and B.F.Tech. in Apparel Production. MFM recorded the lowest closing rank, rendering it the most preferred choice among candidates. Candidates aspiring to pursue BFTech in Apparel Production at NIFT Patna must begin the admission process with applying online for the NIFT entrance exam. For this, they must visit the admission portal on the official website of NIFT. After completing the registration process, they can proceed to fill out the application form and submitting the application fee. 

The next step is to appear for the entrance test. The institute will releases a merit list based on the entrance exam results. Shortlisted candidates are required to register for the common NIFT counselling for seat allotment. For this, applicants must upload the required documents on the admission portal. Those who manage to clear the required NIFT Patna BFTech cut-off are called for document verification. Candidates found eligible after the document verification must submit the applicable NIFT Patna fees for BFTech.

Once the applicants have qualified the entrance exam, they must upload the specified documents on the admission portal. After the final selection, candidates must report to the NIFT Patna campus for physical verification of documents. They must bring along the following original documents and their respective photocopies:

• Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
• Proof of date of birth (Class 10 marksheet & certificate)
• Valid certificate of SC/ST/OBC - Non-Creamy Layer/PwD/Open - EWS category (if applicable)
• Certificate of Medical Fitness to be signed by a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed format
• An undertaking for seeking provisional admission only in case, the result of qualifying examination is
  yet to be declared
• An undertaking on Anti-Ragging
• An undertaking regarding refund of fee

 NIFT Patna grants BFTech admission to candidates who are eligible as per the below-given eligibility criteria:

• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen
• Candidate must not have exceeded the age of 25 years as of August 01 of the year of admission (a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit may be provided to candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category)
• Candidates must have passed Class 12 (with Mathematics) from a recognised board/council; or Senior Secondary School examination of the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects (including Mathematics); or a three/four-year AICTE-approved Diploma examination (in any branch of Engineering)
