Lord Krishna College of Education has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

UG Diploma	Candidate must have completed 10+2 from any recognised Board/Council.

All the CUCET-based scholarships awarded to CU students are valid for the first year only. To renew them for the further years, students should apply for renewal every year. The eligibility criteria for scholarship renewal is mentioned below:

• Performance: 7.5 CGPA at the end of each year
• College students must not indulge in any indiscipline activity
• Students should not have E, F or I in any of the subject in any year

For other merit-based scholarships offered by CU on the basis of JEE Main/ CAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ Class 12 & graduation scores, renewal of scholarship will only be possible if students maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.5 in the semester exams. However, for PharmaD course, it is mandatory that the students don't have any semester/year break in between.

Lovely Professional University has a strong record of placements for courses like BTech, BBA, BCA, BArch, MBA, MCA, etc. Currently, the highest international package offered during LPU placements in 2025 was INR 2.5 crore per annum, whereas the highest domestic package offered stood at INR 1 crore per annum. Panjab University offers financial assistance or concessions to it through offering scholarships under need or merit basis. The University also provides scholarships on the basis of some eligibility requirements. In which, applicants of reserved category are allowed to receive scholarship in the category of Merit-cum-means scholarship of SC/ ST. Such scholarships are awarded to deserving students and guarantee a minimum of 50% marks or similar in any past test. Under the 'Merit-cum-means scholarship for SC/ ST' scholarship, the members of family, with an annual income of INR 2.50 LPA, are eligible to get admission.

Punjab University Patiala offers various courses to students at UG, PG, and PhD levels. The university offers BTech and MBA programmes to students as its popular programmes. These courses are offered for a duration of 4 and 2 years, respectively. 

GNDU Amritsar is mainly known for its BTech course. The other famous courses at the university include BSc, MSc and MBA.

GGDSD College or SD College Chandigarh is a known private college. The institute is affiliated to Panjab University. The college is ranked 70 by NIRF under 'College' category in 2025. The highest and average package secured by the batch 2024 was INR 8.5 LPA and INR 6 LPA in 2024. Admissions in GGDSD are entrance based. The score of entrance exam like PU-CET is acceptable for the courses like BCom, BSc, etc. Overall, it is a good college with good ranking & placements.
