TS PECET is a physical education common entrance test that is conducted by Palamuru University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Candidates seeking admission into two-year BPEd and DPEd programs in the state of Telangana can participate in the examination.

TS PECET is divided into two parts, which are the Physical Efficiency Test and the Skill Test in Game. The entrance exam is only for Telangana state residents. In the previous academic session, the TS PECET exam was conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda.

The exam body has started the TS PECET counselling process for final phase. The TS PECET counselling schedule 2025 was released on August 26, 2025. The candidates who have registered for the counselling process will be allotted to the colleges to pursue their BPEd course. The TS PECET Counselling process is conducted in a web-based mode. Candidates who qualify as per the TS PECET result can register for the counselling process. In the TS PECET counselling process, candidates will be allocated the colleges as per their merit and performance in the exam, from where they can pursue their BPEd (2 years) and DPEd (2 Years) Courses in Telangana State.

The TS PECET 2025 results are declared on June 30. The TS PECET 2025 result was declared by the Satavahana University, Karimnagar, on behalf of the TSCHE, Telangana. The exam was conducted to offer admissions to shortlisted candidates into the 2-year Bachelor of Physical Education (BP.Ed) and Diploma in Physical Education (DP.Ed) courses. Candidates qualifying as per the TS PECET results 2025 can appear in the counseling process, post which they will be allocated the colleges as per their performance in the exam and merit list.

Candidates need to meet TSPECET 2025 eligibility criteria to apply for the test. To be eligible to apply for the TS PECET exam, candidates need to be Indian Nationals. Apart from this, “Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana only.

The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana State Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended”, informs the official website of TE PECET 2025.

TS PECET 2025 eligibility criteria also state that candidates can apply for the common entrance exam for the BPEd course if they have appeared for the third-year degree final examination or secured a year's degree recognized by any university in Telangana or any other university recognized as equivalent. Candidates need to submit the pass certificate at the time of counseling.

Age Limit: The candidate should have completed 19 years of age on 01/07/2025.

The in-service Physical Education Teachers (PETs) applying for admission into the BPEd Course do not need to appear for any entrance exam conducted by the TSPECET Convener. Such candidates need to apply directly to the Director of School Education, Hyderabad through their respective DEOs through a proper channel as per their notification.

Note: Graduates who have obtained their degree under distance mode from Deemed-to-be Universities and Private Universities do not meet TS PECET eligibility criteria unless such courses have received the approval of the joint action committee of UGC and Distance Education Council and AICTE.

The TSPECET admission process includes the following steps:

Step 1: Application Fee Payment

Candidates applying for the TS PECET 2025 entrance exam had to first pay the application form fee before applying online. Candidates had to visit the official website of the exam. From there, aspirants had to click on ‘Application Fee payment’ in the Application section. After clicking on the ‘application fee payment’, they were directed to a new web page. Candidates had to fill in all the details in the respective fields and click on ‘Proceed to Payment’.

The application fee payment could be done through net banking/debit card/credit card. Candidates were then notified about a ‘successful transaction’. From there on, they had to proceed to fill in the application form.

Step 2: Fill TS PECET application form

Once the formalities of the application fee payment were completed, candidates had to fill out their TSPECET 2025 application form through online mode only. Aspirants had to duly fill and submit their application form for TS PECET. On filling in all the details and submitting the application form, applicants were advised to take a printout of their forms for future reference.

Step 3: Download the TSPECET 2025 Admit Card

The TS PECET admit card was released on the official website of the exam. Candidates could download the TSPECET 2025 admit card from the official website of the exam. Candidates had to check all the details and in case of any disparity, they had to contact the varsity.

Step 4: Give TS PECET 2025

The exam comprised two parts which are the physical Efficiency Test and the Skill Test in the Game. The maximum number of marks that candidates can secure in TSPECET is 500 marks.

Step 5: Check the TS PECET result

TS PECET 2025 results was released on the official website of the Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test after a week of the exam. 

Step 6: Appear for the Counselling round

The TS PECET 2025 counseling was conducted in online mode one week after the results got announced. The counseling process for the TS PECET exam was web-based. Counseling dates for the TSPECET exam were announced in all leading newspapers as well as the official website of the xam. Candidates were informed that individual call letters would not be sent to them and so they need to view the official website as well as newspapers regularly.

The exam body, Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar on behalf of TGCHE started the TS PECET 2025 registration process. Candidates will be able to fill in the application form till the last date for TS PECET Application Form 2025 online mode by visiting the official website of TS PECET- pecet.tsche.ac.in. Domiciles of Telangana state who have who are appearing or have completed a 3-year degree program are eligible to apply for BP. Ed program. Whereas, the candidates who have completed intermediate or equivalent courses from a recognized institute by Govt. of Telangana are eligible to apply for DP.Ed.
