PTET Syllabus 2026: The Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, prescribes the PTET 2026 syllabus and mentions it in its official notification. The syllabus of PTET 2026 consists of the subjects, topics, and subtopics on which the question paper will be based. As per the PTET syllabus 2026, there are 4 sections from which the questions will be asked in the exam: Mental Ability, Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test, General Awareness, and Language Proficiency (Hindi or English). Q:   Is there negative marking in PTET?
A: 

No, as per the official notification released by the exam conducting authority there is no negative marking in the exam. Out of the 4 options available, candidates will have to choose the correct answer and mark it in the OMR sheet provided. For each correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded and there will be no negative marking in the paper. For an unattempted question also, there will be 0 marks granted. Hence, candidates have the freedom to answer the question without fearing for minus marking,
