Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) in Pre Primary & Primary School colleges in India

A minimum of 50% in their 10+2 board exams from any recognised institute in any subject is required for admission to the one-year NTT training Diploma program. Students from any stream (Commerce, Science or Humanities) are welcome to enrol.
In this course. Candidates are required to be excellent communicators with young children. The one-year Diploma programme is broken up into two semesters, each lasting six months. Candidates must successfully finish the required number of courses, each worth 3 or 4 credits. 

 

NTT  is generally referred to as a Diploma only. It is recognised as a Diploma when offered by teacher training institutions or government-affiliated colleges. Though some private institutes offer NTT as a certificate also. NTT as a diploma, tends to have a better scope.

I'd say the course itself is not tough. But there's a slight possibility of a challenge at the time of handling young children during your internship or job. Your approach needs to be patient and paired with high emotional quotient to deal and teach children.

Yes, candidates can apply for Invertis University BSc courses directly after completing Class 12th. Candiates with a high aggregate in Class 12 board exams are not required to appear in any entrance exam to qualify for BSc admissions.

Dear Nomanjee, Yes, LPU is recognised by ICAR and UGC. LPU is not only recognised by these two approval bodies, in fact, but LPU also has many recognitions. As per IGNOU NIRF report 2026, the overall median package received during IGNOU placements 2025 was between INR 2.45 LPA and 2.85 LPA. In UG 1-year programs,  640 students were placed and 2560 students were selected for higher studies out of 3765 graduating students.
