The campus is beautiful, and the food in each canteen is very clean and hygienic.

Placements: Since the Chemistry department encourages students to pursue their careers in research, there are limited placements. Only teaching-related recruiters come to the college and offer an average salary of 4 LPA. This year, recruiters like Avanti Group, Azim Premji Foundation, and some local colleges came.

The campus is very beautiful, plus the food in each canteen is very clean and hygienic.

Placements: I am in my first year here, so opportunities for me were not quite many. Seniors got opportunities from companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, TATA, Wadhwani Foundation, Internshala, etc. There were opportunities often. One can prepare for competitive exams well.

Review of Assam Don Bosco University, Azara.

Placements: There are many placement opportunities as well as internship programs in the college. Even this year, a good number of students got placements after their internships, about 30%. The companies usually belong to the banking and marketing sectors, and the salaries offered range from Rs.20,000 to Rs.40,000, which is quite enough for an entry-level job, especially in the northeast regions.

Placements: As I am pursuing BBA at Assam Don Bosco University Azara, here the average package for BBA students is around Rs 2 to 3 Lacs per annum and the top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, HCL Infosystems, The Adecco Group, BSNL, Reliance Communications, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Microsoft, Wipro, SpiceJet, Shriram Value Services.

My experience in university is good but dissatisfied with the campus

Placements: Placement is not taken important in our university. There is placement staff who invites the recruiter for interview so one who are interested go for the interview. Since I didn't go for interview I don't know the highest or lowest package offered in our course.

I also like the simplicity of the campus and easy access to the library.

Placements: As the course is MSc Physics, there is not so much campus placement opportunity, but yet some ed-tech companies like Byju's come here to take students. Here in the department, more focus is on research and to do a PhD, not on job placement. So think twice before taking this course.
