Candidates must first apply for their preferred course on the official website of the university. Alagappa university admission is both entrance and merit-based, depending upon the nature of the programme. The university conducts an entrance exam for admission to B.Ed, MBA, MCA and MSc. Alagappa University is a public university in Tamil Nadu and strives to provide quality higher education to students. However, the candidates could pay the application fee for the NTA NET June cycle till May 20, 2024, and application correction window was activated between May 21 to 23, 2024. The NTA UGC NET exam is scheduled to be conducted between August 21 to September 4, 2024. 

Alagappa University integrated BSc-MSc course in Marine Biology is of five-year duration. There are a total of 10 semesters, wherein, each has a list of subjects.
