Placements: Galgotias University has a strong reputation for placements. The course-wise data for placement is not available. The highest package Rs. 1.5 crore and the average package for most courses was around Rs. 5-6 lacs. Generally, biotechnology students work as research associates, lab technicians, and quality control analysts. The companies that hire B.Sc. Biotechnology includes Cipla, Biocon, Dr. Reddy's, and Sun Pharma. The university has maintained a great placement record with a placement rate of around 98% in recent years.

Infrastructure: Galgotias University offers a well-equipped infrastructure with several blocks and a new building being constructed with advanced infrastructure. The department has modern laboratories for microbiology, biochemistry, and genetic engineering. It also has smart classrooms with projectors and Wi-Fi facilities. The library is well-stocked with textbooks, research papers, and journals. It provides both AC and non-AC rooms. The mess food quality is average.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified. Most of the professors are Ph.D. holders. They conduct regular quizzes on the Galgotias platform called LMS and also give quizzes for homework for revision. The course curriculum is well structured and covers essential subjects like microbiology, genetics, biotechnology, and bioinfographics.

Satisfied with the faculty, good placement in 2024, good infrastructure and facilities etc.

Placements: Most students opt for master's after this course. Around 10-15 students are placed, and some of them try for off-campus placement. The highest salary offered is 7.5 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. The course offers various roles depending on your skills. Lab assistant is the top role.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are good and spacious, and each desk has a charging point. However, Airtel network won't work and Jio works best. The library is quite good. For female students, the hostel is in GCET Galgotias College in Knowledge Park. It has good features, including Wi-Fi and a gym.

Faculty: The teachers at this college are highly qualified, and most of them are IIT graduates. Even the dean is an IIT graduate. They are very helpful and understanding. The course curriculum is designed to give students exposure to how the industry works in this field. To pass the course, we need to get at least 40% in each subject.

Other: I chose this university because it is ranked 3rd in biotechnology, and the fees are reasonable. However, if you are living in Delhi, it will cost you a lot in travel because the university is located in the outskirts. The events are good, and celebrities come for their promotions. For example, Kartik Aryan came for the promotion of "Bhul Bhulaiya." The crowd is good, and the university provides scholarships and club activities.

Good university campus and comfortable campus life, and satisfied.

Placements: Placement record is very low. Not all students get placed. Only engineering students get their placement through campus. The average package of engineering students is 4 LPA. From my course, approximately 30% of students get their placement from the University campus.

Infrastructure: AC is available in every class. The library has a very peaceful environment and the canteen of my college is very big and every shop has a variety of menus with delicious taste. The hostel canteen is only available for hostel students and they have a 4-time meal and a big dining area. Sports facilities are available for hostel students.

Faculty: The teachers of my university are well-qualified and have experience in teaching. The course curriculum is so relevant for students to be ready for industry and for practical life. Semester exams are quite difficult and the passing percentage is 60%. The faculty are so helpful.

Other: The events and fests of my college are very famous in Delhi NCR.

Placements: Placements for my course are quite few. Placements of B.Tech students are good in this college. There are some company visits for my course for placements. The average package for my course is 3-4 lacs, and the highest package is 6-7 lacs. There are few companies who visited: Fitelo and Rínix. Most companies who visited are from sales. Most of the students from my course don't want placements; they want to go for higher studies. My college doesn't provide internships if you want to do it; you can do it by yourself and for it you are not going to pay.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good and beautiful. Wi-Fi facilities are there but there are a lot of network issues on campus. There are 6 blocks in college (A, B, C, D, E, and F), but the main three campuses are A, B, and C, where all teaching work is held. There are two libraries and so many books are here so you can borrow the choice of book you want any time. If I talk about labs, there are many labs, but the availability of instruments is less. Hostel facilities are only for boys on the main campus; there is no hostel for girls. If I talk about food, then it's quite good. As I asked my friends, they told me that the taste is good and you can eat it. There is also one cafeteria, which is quite expensive. The annual fee of the hostel is 1,50,000.

Faculty: Faculty members are quite good. They are so helpful, supportive and understanding. If I talk about their qualifications, then most of them are Ph.D.s and postdocs. The teaching quality is also good; some of them make you understand by presentation in class and then send you pdfs and PPTs to read at home and some of them teach you by making notes. Semester exams are easy to moderate. If you are an average student, you can pass it. Passing criteria is 40%, including MTE and ETA.

Other: I chose this course because I have great interest in research and this college is also in the Delhi NCR region. You have an interest in research or you want to make discoveries so you can join this. If I talk about events, then there are so many events that happen here every 2–3 days. Campus crowd is so much; I mean, it's so crowded. There is a great scope of extracurricular activities as there are many clubs for dance, music, marketing, modelling, art and craft, etc. Other than that so many festivals also happen here every 2-3 months and you can also get to see so many celebrities and influencers, so yes, it's quite exciting and enjoyable.

My experience of this college is average.

Placements: I am doing BSc medical biotechnology and I am from the 22-25 batch. The placement of my college is average. Many companies do visit but they offer the roles of sales and executive. The average package is 3 LPA, and you are eligible to sit in placement from your 3rd year.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of my university is good. Labs classroom and library facilities are up to the marks. Wifi is available in every block but only for the faculties. If you have a password, you can access the network. Many books are available in the library.

Faculty: Faculties are highly qualified and experienced. They are highly knowledgeable in their specific domains. They are very helpful to us. The course curriculum is good but it needs modification. The semester exams are not that difficult. You can score good marks by going through all the study materials.

Other: I chose this course because of future opportunities.

Review of Galgotias University .

Placements: Every year, companies visit our campus. Placement is above average. In our department, the main role offered is that of a medical trainee. Personally, in our course, the majority of students don't go for placement but there are some who want it, and they get it. The average package is 5.6 lacs after a B.Sc. medical biotechnology.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good; of course, everyone calls it a mall. Classrooms are air-conditioned; there's a library on campus, even though you are provided with an with an online library facility; well-equipped labs; there's a Mac lab too; and Wi-Fi is also available. Since there's no girls' hostel on campus, there's a hostel for girls on campus, and they provide them with a with a bus for transport. Food quality is good in comparison to off-campus hostels. Medical facilities are provided.

Faculty: Talking about teachers, they are highly qualified professionals with a depth of knowledge in the particular subject they teach. Teaching quality is good, no doubt. But they need to improve their lab facility. Talking about exams, it's easy to moderate; if you attend classes and pay attention in the class, it will seem easy.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in biological research. They need to improve lab facilities. Talking about campus life is something to cherish always. Fests, DJ nights and events are going to be amazing.

I am totally satisfied with the course and faculty members.

Placements: Everything is good. Almost every student got placed according to their interest and requirements. The highest package offered in my course is 6-10 LPA. The lowest package of our course is 2-3 LPA. It depends on students whether they put in their effort to get good placements.

Infrastructure: I am not a hosteler. I took a hostel outside the campus. But a few of my friends are living in the hostel, and I heard from them that the hostel has Wi-Fi, TV rooms, gaming zones, mess, water coolers for drinking Aqua-Pure water etc. About my course, I only say that everything is good. My department is very good. They provide all slides for us to study and give us study materials. The faculty are good.

Faculty: The faculty for every subject is good, and they are very interactive, communicative, and helpful. Although my course coordinators are also very helpful, and they help us in all possible ways. All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is very good. Semester exams are quite tough, but not that much if you study properly. You can only read all slides carefully provided by the teachers, and you will be able to answer all the questions.

Other: Almost all the students got placed. My seniors are very interactive. The best thing about our course is that we are in the research field, and we can do many things only by exploring things through research. Events and fests are organised in a good manner. Extracurricular activities are organised by teachers or senior students.

Fully satisfied as I am pursuing medical biotechnology for research purposes.

Placements: As far as I've felt and heard the exposure and placements in the university are great. The university is extremely supportive and is one of the best for future placements perspective. Campus placements mostly begin from the 6th semester. Till then preparation the same is done.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure isn't too out of the box. It is very nice. The labs are fine. The environment is great, well maintained, with fresh air. Gardens and grounds are green and fresh. The cafeteria is great too. Most of our time between lectures is spent there.

Faculty: The curriculum is fine. Various seminars and webinars are arranged. Most of the faculty is amazing in their respective fields. They are patient and eager to help. They don't make students feel overwhelmed about studies and marks. Several projects and assignments are given as well to provide more of a practical approach.

Other: Events, Fest, Campus Crowd, Connectivity, Campus Surroundings, Extracurricular activities. Everything is great.
