My review of Amity University Gurugram.

Placements: Around 90% of the students are placed through campus recruitment from our course. The highest package is 12 LPA. Top companies like Rapture Biotech and Viv Renovation take part in recruitment. Approximately 85% of students are offered internships and placements.

Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with modern facilities that support both theoretical and practical learning. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated. Laboratories are well-maintained and stocked with all the necessary chemicals and equipment. Hostel facilities are decent and cater to all the basic needs of students.

Faculty: The faculty at Amity University is generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Many industries include practical training, industrial visits, internships, and guest lectures from professionals. In addition, Amity offers personality development classes like communication skills and behavior skills workshops in each semester.

Other: I choose B.Sc. in Biological Sciences because I have always been deeply fascinated by how life works at the cellular and molecular level. I want a course that gives me a strong foundation in genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, etc. Amity University provides a well-structured course in accordance with my interests.

The faculty and teaching is satisfying. The environment is very healthy.

Placements: The recruitment process is very systematic. The students who opt for placement after graduation undergo various mock interviews and these help in building confidence and making them interview ready. Various prestigious companies that provide nice packages hire students from the Department of Biotechnology.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really appreciable. The Wi-Fi facility provides a huge advantage to students. The classrooms are spacious and fully ventilated. The library is a blessing for the students who are focusing on research as all kinds of articles, reviews, and study materials are available in the library. The hostel and medical facility are also very good. Various sports and game events are organized periodically.

Faculty: The teachers are really very interactive. The subjects are taught in a holistic manner. The quality of teaching is really very good. I really like the inclusion of compulsory summer internships for students of my course. Various conferences and symposiums are organized for giving exposure to students. Industrial visits are also organized for the students.

Other: The best thing about my course was the subjects. The vast variety of subjects included in my course helped me in exploring various fields and seek my interests. The inclusion of foreign language and an open elective subject and providing minor degrees for the same is something I really find advantageous for the students. Various sports, fests, marathon, Sangathan (the annual sports meet) are organized periodically. DJ nights are also organized for students along with various shows. Such events bring out the best in students and help them in exploring new things, and seek their interests.

The infrastructure and facilities are very good.

Placements: Our course leads to further studies like a master's course. After that, students can be recruited in many good fields or can study further and pursue a research career. It is mainly a research-oriented course. Students who are interested in biological studies would be quite enriched by this course curriculum.

Infrastructure: Hostel and medical facilities are good on the campus. A 24x7 security is available by marshals and guards of Amity University, Gurugram. There are 5-6 canteens and food plaza options with varieties of food items. There is also a big sports complex for refreshment. Badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, football and cricket fields are available for students to enjoy.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very good. Students also get to study physics, chemistry and mathematics in the first year of the course. The course makes students prepared well for future entrance exams. All faculty members in our college are highly qualified, knowledgeable, very helpful and supportive.

Other: Our college has big lecture theatres with advanced study techniques, which are used to educate students. Several eminent scientists' talks and presentations are also organised here. Our course provides quite an enriched curriculum with mandatory summer internships after completion of the 2nd and 4th semesters.

I am completely satisfied, and this college is a perfect platform to have an excellent future.

Placements: Our college provides placements in reputed companies with satisfying starting salary packages. Our college conducts mock interviews to train us and boost our confidence. A good percentage of students got good roles. I am also expecting that I will get a job in upcoming placement interviews.

Infrastructure: Labs are well maintained and highly equipped, and they provide really nice study vibes. I had a great experience while performing practicals, and lab assistants are also friendly and very helpful. The library is also well maintained and provides access to Wi-Fi facility and desktops.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and easy to communicate. Amity provides extra courses for our personal development and to enhance our corporate skills and etiquette. Most of the teachers hold a doctorate degree and have much knowledge in the research field.

Other: Our campus is ragging-free and safe. We also have a mandatory military camp, which is fascinating. It was one of the biggest memory of my college life.

Other: College is good, though I did my b.sc biotechnology (hons.) And not biological sciences. It’s just the labs were not good enough back then, so do take a real time idea how much you are expecting is present there. Otherwise faculty, the department of biotechnology is really awesome.
