B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2025

Overview of my graduation cycle.
Placements: In B.Tech mechanical, last year, there was a 100% placement ratio. The average is around 5 to 6 LPA. Companies like FZ, SLB, and many more are approaching campus placements. Mostly for a mechanical engineer, companies look for a guarantee trainee role but it also depends on students as well as the company to get different roles.
Infrastructure: There are several labs for mechanical engineering students like CAD, Heat and mass transfer lab, mechanics, mechatronics, refrigeration, and air conditioning labs, and are detained and maintained. Hostel and mess are well-provided to students. The mess is also accessible to day scholars.
Faculty: Mechanical engineering faculty members are very helpful and well-qualified. They are knowledgeable. The teaching quality depends on every faculty as everyone has a different style of teaching. The course curriculum is moderate for studying. It helps develop your basics more strongly. The semester exams are also of moderate level. The passing percentage is about 30%,

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2021

I am absolutely satisfied with faculty members, really good infrastructure and course curriculum.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed from our course with the highest salary package of around 7 LPA. The average salary package offered in 2021 for mechanical is around 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies here were Reliance, Jindal Aluminium, Synnova Gears, etc. Almost every student who was placed got an internship in the company in which they got placed. The top role currently offered is graduate engineer trainee (GET).
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Amity University, Lucknow is very good and very attractive. There are Wi-Fi enabled departments, completely air-conditioned classrooms and labs with proper machinery. Facilities are quite good here. The library of Amity is very good ambience wise, and there are ample books for mechanical. The only drawback here is the edition of books, and the books are not updated with time.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and are highly qualified. Many faculty members are graduated from many IITs and NITs. They are quite knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also good, except for some teachers. The course curriculum is quite good and makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course as I have an interest in this field. The best thing about our course is its diversity of things, from heat application processes in engines to manufacturing and production. I wish that our course should emphasise more on practicals than on theory since practically there are many real problems to deal with. In a year, our college organises two events, a sports fest named Sangathan and the cultural fest named Amiphoria, in which students of Amity and other colleges participate in different events and enjoy. Students are given a scholarship based admission based on their performance in the 12th standard, which continues on the basis of their performance further.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2023

It has good infrastructure and facilities. Some teachers are very prominent, but some are average.
Placements: I am a student of the 2023 batch. In our batch, a very less number of students took admission in our college, especially in B.Tech in mechanical, civil and aerospace. In our college, top companies such as Byju's, HCL, Infosys and many more visit to hire the best knowledgeable students. The highest salary package offered for the 2020 batch was 29 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities offered on our campus are very promising such as Wi-Fi, library, electricity, classrooms, catering services, sports, laundry, vehicle parking and medical facilities. Hostel rooms are spacious enough. We have got many best services on our campus.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful in nature, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is very good and relevant. Some of the courses are industry-oriented. Books associated with the course are not relevant and do not contain the syllabus of the course.
Other: Ambiphoria is a dynamic event organised in our college in February. Sangathan is a sports event, which is usually organised in September.

It is very expensive to say the least.
Placements: It is not that great for mechanical students, but for computer science it is great and also for biotech and pharma. The highest salary offered was of 20 Lacs. Companies visited are, wipro, mahindra, hcl, etc. The placement cell was quite effective and always provided details of upcoming companies. They also arranged for classes to prepare for interviews and group discussion.
Infrastructure: Hostels are cozy and no issue of electricity, water etc. Unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi. Hostel mess is also quite nice but all of it is quite expensive. Moving into the main buildings. There are total 6 academic blocks namely, AB1 to AB 6 all air conditioned and good lighting. Multistory library with personal space provided and also LAN. There are 3 grounds, 1 basketball court and 1 tennis court. Parking space provided inside. Ccd, stationary shops and canteens also provided.
Faculty: Everything is top notch, and to be fair a bit excessive with extra subjects like FBL (German, Spanish, Mandarin). Faculty members are quite freindly and helpful. Most qualified faculty of all Amity universities.

I am satisfied with the college that gives you a lifetime experience.
Placements: The college provides satisfactory placements. Students are sent to Noida campus for final placements although few companies visit here. The scope is emerging into the campus. Only a few students of our batch got placed. Students have to struggle a bit to get a good job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is great. There are six academic blocks, CCD, stationery shop, canteens, grocery shops and everything is available around the campus. Hostels are good and well-maintained. Classrooms are good with good seating structure and centralised air-conditioners.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good and helpful. Everyone has a good experience and lots of knowledge, but it's up to you how to extract it and use it. If faculty mentors you throughout, then recommendations are strong, and there will be more opportunities.
