Amity University Mumbai BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Amity Mumbai BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. The university offers BTech in 11 specialisations through the Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Mumbai, and Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Mumbai. Amity Mumbai also offers BTech (3 Continent) in three specialisations. The university also offers BTech + MTech (Dual) in Biotechnology for five years. Amity Institute of Biotechnology under Amity Mumbai offers BTech Biotechnology. All other BTech specialisations are offered through the Amity Institute of Technology.
Amity Mumbai BTech admission is entrance-based. Candidates must have valid scores in the AMCAT or JEE Main or any other National/ State Entrance Exam or CUET UG for admission to the engineering course. Check below the Amity Mumbai eligibility criteria for BTech:
- A pass in Class 12 with PCM with at least 60% aggregate is required to apply for BTech course.
- A pass in Class 12 with PCM/ PCB with at least 60% aggregate is required to apply for BTech in Biotechnology. Candidates must pass Class 10 & Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and PCM with at least 55% aggregate to apply for BTech CSE International.
- Candidates passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to BTech course.
- A pass in Class 12 with PCM/ PCB with at least 60% aggregate is required to apply for BTech + MTech (Dual) Biotechnology.

However, as the NIRF report 2023, 85 BTech students were placed out of total 132 students during Amity Mumbai BTech placements 2022. Earlier, in 2021, 45 students were placed out of total 128 students. When we go back to 2020 placements, 26 students were placed out of total 105 students.

NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. Candidates can check JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 and 2 on this page. JEE Main 2024 application form session 1 was available from November 1 to December 4. For session 2, NTA released application form on February 2.
BTech admission at Amity University, Mumbai, is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria specified by the university. If you score above 95 percentile in CUET and have 80% or more in 12th, you can get 100% fee scholarship.
90 percentile + 75% in 12th = 50% scholarship
85 percentile + 70% in 12th = 25% scholarship
