Yes, candidates need to qualify AMCAT or JEE Main or any other National/ State Entrance Exam. The university also accepts CUET UG for all BTech specialisations except 3-Continent. Amity University Mumbai offers direct admission for various UG programmes to candidates who have scored 80% or higher in their Class 12 (CBSE/ISC/State Boards). These candidates are exempt from the selection process. Direct admission is also offered to B.A. LL.B, B.A. LL.B.  (Hons), B.B.A. LL.B.  (Hons), and B.Com LL.B.  (Hons) programmes based on CLAT scores of 90 and above, provided they meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Amity University Mumbai also accepts SAT scores for UG programme admissions. 

Yes, the university provides direct admission to candidates fufiling the below-mentioned criteria:

• Candidates must pass Class 12 (CBSE/ ISC/ State Boards) with at least 80% aggregate for direct admission to UG courses. Aspirants eligible for direct admission are exempted from entrance exam.
• Aspirants with at least 70 percentile in CAT/ MAT exam are eligible for direct admission to MBA course. Such candidates are exempted from entrance test and can directly come for GDPI round.
• Direct admission is not applicable on non-MBA course.
