Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham provides modern amenities with state-of-the-art infrastructure to its students. Some of the facilities provided by the university include equipped laboratories, well-connected campus networks, a modern gymnasium, well-maintained tennis, badminton and basketball courts, an Olympic-size swimming pool, etc.

A total of seven hostel complexes are located within the campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. All of these hostels are Wi-Fi-enabled and are equipped with all the basic facilities. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers admission to international students. All international students must register with the local Foreigners Regional Registration Officer (FRRO) within 14 days of their arrival in India. Students can go to the official website to apply online. Admission to some of the courses is entrance-based while for others, merit in the last qualifying exam is considered for admission.

Yes, students can get direct admisison at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore for some courses. The institute accepts direct admission for courses like BSc, BA, BCom, MSc, MA and other programmes. The institute accepts national entrance exams like MAT,  XAT,  CAT,  CMAT,  JEE Main and AEEE.

Amrita University has been recognised by the UGC as a deemed university in 2003. NAAC has certified Grade-A++ to the university. Hence, this university is recognised. The university is also ranked at the 8th spot in Universities category by NIRF 2025.

The AEEE 2026 application form for phase 1 and phase 2 is out. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form, and more than one application, i.e. multiple applications from a candidate, may get rejected. Candidates' names and their parents' names in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in the Class 12th/ equivalent qualifying Examination. Prefix/title such as Mr/Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs/Smt/Col etc. should not be used.  The candidates are advised not to send the hard copy of the online application to the university. However, the candidates are advised to retain a hard copy of the application, i.e. acknowledgement page, for future reference or correspondence.
