B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - Batch of 2029
Offered by Saveetha Engineering College, Chennai
4.2

A story begins now in Saveetha Engineering College. I hope going to this college feels good.
Placements: About 97% of students are placed through campus drives. Companies like Qualcomm, Amazon, and Infosys recruit for computer-based courses. I have no information about internships currently. The college has a well-active placement cell, and seniors regularly face tests of soft skills and coding skills.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped and surrounded with noise protection glasses. The hostel has two parts. One is new with fully AC rooms, and the other is mixed with AC and non-AC rooms. The hostel is cleanly maintained by the staff. The mess has full AC dining with North Indian catering service. Medical and technical support is available 24/7. Sports are well supported for hostel students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly on and off campus. The curriculum is fast and allows students to learn new things because of flexi learning. Exams are conducted every 45 days, meaning a semester is 90 days split into 45 + 45. One part is called skill-based courses, and the other is called foundation courses.
Other: All about the TNEA counselling matters, I chose this college suddenly. It is good for all departments, and I belong to the AIML department, which is a developing field now. Every class, we change classrooms and stay committed to new learners. Clubs are active and have easy links with seniors. They provide merit scholarships. I enter through the 7.5% reservation quota under TNEA counselling.

A story begins now at Saveetha Engineering College. I hope it goes well and feels good.
Placements: I think about 97% of students are placed, as shown on banners and flex displays. Companies like Qualcomm, Amazon, and Infosys recruit for computer-based courses. I have no idea about internships right now. The college has a well-active placement cell, and seniors are tested every time on soft skills and coding skills.

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by Saveetha Engineering College, Chennai
3.6
4Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
The college offers good placements for computer courses, a good hostel, and flexible learning.
Placements: My college offers good placement opportunities for computer-related courses such as Computer Science and IT. Placements for core branches like Mechanical, Civil, ECE, and EEE are not as strong compared to computer courses. If you are interested in computer-related fields. This college is definitely a great choice for you.
Infrastructure: I am pursuing Mechanical Engineering, and compared to other departments, my course lacks in certain areas. Though Mechanical is an evergreen branch, it requires more practical and experiential learning. My college offers a Flexi Learning system, which allows students to choose their class timings, something I really appreciate. I recently visited Mahindra R&D, which was very useful. The management conducts events and hackathons every semester, though they benefit computer-related courses more. Hostel facilities are good, with both AC and non-AC rooms, and the food quality is satisfactory, with both veg and non-veg meals served daily.
Faculty: Faculty members in my college are very friendly and teach well, in my opinion. Some of them are really good and have been very satisfying in their teaching methods. However, I feel that certain subjects could have been taught better, as they expected a bit more. I believe they will definitely satisfy you! For SCOFT learners (CSE, IT), all CIAs and skill assessments are conducted online, except for the semester exams, which are held offline. For Non-SCOFT learners, all exams, including CIAs and semester exams, are conducted offline, except for placement training courses.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because I genuinely like the subject. However, this field requires more practical learning and exposure to industrial skills. The current teaching methods are somewhat outdated. That need to be upgraded to match modern industry requirements.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2027
Offered by New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering and Technology

It offers great learning environment due to supportive, knowledgeable, & dedicated faculty members.
Placements: Placements are good for major departments. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visiting the campus, but core company offers are limited, and some students struggle to get placed. The placement training is helpful but could be improved with more mock interviews and technical sessions.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good with smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, and labs. The library has a wide collection of books. The hostel is clean and safe. The food quality is average but hygienic. Sports and medical facilities are available. There is scope for improving the Wi-Fi speed.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent. They are supportive and knowledgeable. It makes autonomous university exams manageable. The pass percentage is high. The curriculum heavily emphasizes theory and assignments over practical skills. Campus life feels restricted due to limited freedom.
Other: I chose this because I am interested in learning practical and professional skills. It is related to my field. The best part about my course is supportive faculty and friendly environment. They conduct regular seminars and workshops.

The campus has a good environment and teaching, but it needs better hostel and placement support.
Placements: The college has an active Training & Placement cell that strives for 100% placement for its students. For engineering/UG courses, the latest data (2023–24) shows 125 graduates placed out of 125 students (100%) for the UG program in the minimum stipulated time. The median salary of around 6.10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the MBA department at New Price Shri Bhavani College of Engineering & Technology is decent and well maintained. Classrooms are spacious, clean. They are equipped with projectors for presentations. The campus has good Wi-Fi connectivity. The library is stocked with management books, journals, and digital resources. The environment is peaceful and suitable for study.
Faculty: The college lists qualified staff in multiple departments, including engineering and PG. For example, the CSE department has professors and associate professors with PhDs. For the MBA program, the college site explicitly shows regulations, curriculum and syllabus, BOS minutes, and Academic Council minutes.
Other: The course could also include more practical sessions, internships, and updated case studies aligned with modern business trends. Campus connectivity is good since it is inside Chennai city.

Offered by KEC - Kongu Engineering College

Kongu Engineering College is good, but this college is located on the outskirts of Erode.
Placements: I don't know the exact placement percentage. I think it is around 75% in my department. In my department, the average salary is approximately 3–4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, TCS, ZOHO, Infosys, and Soliton. Service-based roles are a major in my department.
Infrastructure: The campus is green and eco-friendly and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. In classrooms, teachers teach on a smartboard. The library is neat and clean, and students maintain silence. There are nearly 7,000 books available, which give knowledge to students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. They clear every doubt with an explanation. The curriculum is good. They provide more training for placements, but students feel more stressed. They also make students go for industry visits even in the first year. I am a first-year student, and I have not faced any semester exams yet.
