Not the best of placements.

Placements: It is not up to the mark. There are a few software companies which visited but still not the popular ones. There are absolutely nil placements for mechanical and automobile. But, the college has a tie up with TIME for soft skill development and placement training. The situation might have improved now, but many students from my batch have found a job off-campus. Some have opted for higher studies like me (currently pursuing MS Automotive in the University of Leeds, UK). The IT companies which visited were largely call centres in nature. The college has a placement cell which is not too effective, though the college is striving hard to improve its placement records. However, many of my friends have got placed off campus in big ITs like Cognizant, Tata and Wipro. Many of them have got into PhD. In short, not the place if you want to get placed.

Infrastructure: Labs are pretty good. The college has no Wi-Fi connectivity. Classrooms are decent with enough hygiene. The hostel is good but is not posh. The automotive engineering lab is very and there is almost every essential component available, which will surely help with studies.

Faculty: The faculty members' quality is fair enough. The coursework is set by Anna University and there is little that the college can do about it. There are some faculty members who have a good industrial exposure. The college often arranges industrial visits and guides students for inplant training as well.

Other: College atmosphere was nice. But quality of education and practical knowledge given was not up to the mark. Infrastructure and quality of education, Practical education should be given more importance and students should be provided campus interviews. It was not there at the time when I studied.
