Yes it's true, college of engineering, guindy (CEG) only gets the right placements and internships instead the other constituent institutions of anna university could not provide placements and internships.

A story begins now in Saveetha Engineering College. I hope to go with joy and succeed in my life.
Placements: I think about 97% students are placed in the top companies like Qualcomm, Amazon, Infosys. Not an idea about internships right now. College looks like an active placement cell. Seniors are faced with the test of soft & technical skills every time.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped labs surrounded by noise protection glasses. Hostels have buildings for boys. One was full of AC rooms and another one was a mix of AC & Non-AC rooms. The hostel was cleaned and maintained by the workers. Mess has a support of AC. Anyway, the medical, water, and electricity supply were awesome for the hostel students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly on & off campus. The curriculum was so fast and learn new things because of flexible learning. Exams were conducted every 45 days, meaning the semester is real.90 days is split into 45+45 cycles. Both cycles are named & called as skill-based & foundation courses.
Other: I chose the college through the TNEA counselling. It's good for me that the CSE department is growing & an upcoming field in the current era. Students have fixed their own timetable, which includes different classrooms, including air conditioning, and make new friends in every class. Clubs are very active among the seniors. They provide the merit scholarship, which I entered under via a 7.5 government quota.

Have no idea about an internship right now. College looks like a well-organised placement cell, and seniors face tests of soft skills and coding skills every time.

The hostel was clearly maintained by crowd members. Mess with full of AC dining, with North people catering service. Medical & technical was ready for 24/7 service. Sports are well supported for hostel students.

Exams were conducted every 45 days, meaning a semester, it's real. 90 days is split into 45 +45. One was called as skill-based courses and another was called foundation courses.
Other: All about the TNEA counselling matters, choosing the college suddenly. It's good that ECE is a developing field now. Every class, we should change the classrooms and commit to new learners. Clubs are active and link with seniors more easily. They provide the merit scholarship, and I entered through the GQ of 7.5 reservation quota under TNEA counselling.

The college offers good placements for computer courses, a good hostel, and flexible learning.
Placements: My college offers good placement opportunities for computer-related courses such as Computer Science and IT. Placements for core branches like Mechanical, Civil, ECE, and EEE are not as strong compared to computer courses. If you are interested in computer-related fields. This college is definitely a great choice for you.
Infrastructure: I am pursuing Mechanical Engineering, and compared to other departments, my course lacks in certain areas. Though Mechanical is an evergreen branch, it requires more practical and experiential learning. My college offers a Flexi Learning system, which allows students to choose their class timings, something I really appreciate. I recently visited Mahindra R&D, which was very useful. The management conducts events and hackathons every semester, though they benefit computer-related courses more. Hostel facilities are good, with both AC and non-AC rooms, and the food quality is satisfactory, with both veg and non-veg meals served daily.
Faculty: Faculty members in my college are very friendly and teach well, in my opinion. Some of them are really good and have been very satisfying in their teaching methods. However, I feel that certain subjects could have been taught better, as they expected a bit more. I believe they will definitely satisfy you! For SCOFT learners (CSE, IT), all CIAs and skill assessments are conducted online, except for the semester exams, which are held offline. For Non-SCOFT learners, all exams, including CIAs and semester exams, are conducted offline, except for placement training courses.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because I genuinely like the subject. However, this field requires more practical learning and exposure to industrial skills. The current teaching methods are somewhat outdated. That need to be upgraded to match modern industry requirements.
