The online/distance degrees offered by the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Annamalai University are valid. Previously, the University Grants Commission (UGC) did not approve its courses starting from 2015. 1. First Graduate Tuition Fee Concession: Under this scheme, the government of Tamil Nadu will grant tuition fee concessions to the candidates who will become the first graduate in a family. From the year 2013-14 onwards the tuition fee concession for first graduates has also been extended to the students of Annamalai University. 
2. Post Matric Scholarship: Under this category, the Government has ordered to grant of Post Matric Scholarship to SC/SCA/ST candidates, whose parental annual income is less than INR 2.50 Lacs per annum and for SC/SCA converted Christians whose parental annual income is less than INR 2 Lacs per annum.
3. Higher Education Special Scholarship: This scholarship is only eligible for the hostel students belonging to SC / SCA / ST and Converted Christian categories, whose annual income from all sources should not exceed more than INR 2.50 Lacs per annum.
4. BC/MBC/DNC Categories Scholarship: This is valid for students belonging to BC/MBC/DNC categories whose parent’s income from all sources is not more than INR 2 Lacs per annum.

Annamalai University DDE offers BFA at the undergraduate (UG) level and MA, MBA, MCom, MFA, MSc, and MSW courses at the Postgraduate (PG) level. Candidates who are interested in getting admission to UG or PG courses offered by this university can apply by visiting the official website.
