BITS Pilani NIRF Ranking 2025: Engineering, Pharmacy and University Rankings

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has gained excellent rankings in the NIRF Ranking Report 2025 published by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. As per the official report, the institute has secured the #11 rank in the Engineering category, ranking above institutes like Jamia Millia Islamia, DTU, IIT Mandi, IIT Gandhinagar, etc. Under the University Category, BITS Pilani secured the 7th rank. The highest rank secured by this institute was in the Pharmacy category, securing the 2nd  position among the top 100 Pharmacy institutes in India. Overall, the institute ranks at #16 according to the latest report. 

The NIRF ranking assess education institutes on different factors, like Teaching, Learning and Outcomes (TLR), Research and Professional Practices (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI) and Peer Perception (PR).
