Parul University Vadodara Shines at 39th AIU National Youth Festival 2025-26, Grabs the Title of First Runner-Up Overall

Vadodara-based Parul University was awarded the overall runner-up title at the prestigious 39th All India University National Youth Festival 2025-26. The students of Parul University earned numerous top positions during this event and gained national recognition for their excellent performance in a variety of literary, performing and fine arts competitions while competing with other universities across the country.

At the AIU National Youth Festival, Parul University Vadodara's students took home 1st place in both the overall Music and overall Dance categories, and 3rd place in the overall Literary category, with an impressive display of talent in various cultural and literary events. Students demonstrated incredible speaking and creative skills, earning 1st place in Hindi Debate and Elocution. In performing arts, the students earned 1st place in the classical dance and folk dance categories and 3rd place in creative choreography, showcasing their many types of rich cultural diversity and talent. In theatrical performances, students earned 2nd place for mime performance, 4th place for mimicry and 3rd place for cartooning, showing off their creativity and strong presence on the stage while also demonstrating great storytelling ability.

Another highlight was their musical excellence, which placed them at the 1st place in Folk Orchestra, Western Instrumental Solo, Western Group Song, and 2nd place in Indian Group Song, which demonstrated both the versatility of their musicians, as well as the harmony between them. The individual accolades added to the University's reputation, placing 2nd in Indian Light Vocal, Classical Vocal Solo and 3rd in Western Vocal Solo.

Performing extraordinarily well in music categories (instrumental), the students achieved 1st place for Classical Instrumental Solo (Non-Percussion) and Classical Instrumental Solo (Percussion). In addition, the university won 3rd place for the Cultural Procession wich demonstrate the vibrant and diverse cultural representation of students, as well as the strength of the university's literary and artistic talent.

The outstanding performance at the AIU National Youth Festival stands as a proud milestone for PU Community, as it showcases the commitment and talent of the university's students by showcasing their artistic talent at a national level.

Manish Jangra, Senior Director, Cultural Affairs and Dean, Faculty of Performing Arts, congratulated the students, saying, “I can’t tell you how proud of them I am to see how much our students have achieved at the AIU. The outstanding success achieved demonstrates the great talent and creative abilities of our students. At Parul University, we aspire to develop well-rounded students who excel academically but also in areas related to culture and art. It is a very proud day for the entire Parul community to see our students succeed on a national level and to come back home with these awards."
