Assam University BPharm Eligibility & Highlights 2025
BPharm at Assam University is a full-time four-year UG degree course, divided into eight semesters. Pharmacy courses are offered by the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences under the Sushruta School of Medical and Paramedical Sciences, and recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India. The basic eligibility for admission to the BPharm course is candidates must complete their Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology both in theory and practical with at least an aggregate of 50%.
Assam University BPharm admission is done based on CUET-UG but, the university also offers admission based on merit of Class 12 scores. The university releases a different merit list for the students who want to get admission into the course with their Class 12 scores.

The university will soon release the Assam University BPharm Admission dates 2025. For BPharm aspirants, important dates including CUET 2025 dates are circulated by the examination authority i.e., NTA. Assam University's BPharm deadline 2025 has not been released yet.
Assam University BPharm Admission 2025: How to Apply?
For Assam University admission to BPharma eligibile students have to visit Assam University's official website. Assam University BPharm course admission is based on CUET-UG and Class 12. Check the stepwise Assam University BPharm course admission below:
- Online registration details are available on the university website at http://www.aus.ac.in/.
- Go to https://ausexamination.ac.in/admission), click on the 'applicant login' button. New applicants should click on the blue button indicating 'new applicant' to create a 'new account'.
- Fill the details related to the entrance examination, such as type of entrance examination, score cards, etc.
- Include educational credentials and upload a recent photograph and a signature.
- After attaching all the relevant documents, pay the Assam University BPharm application fees. The application fees will be paid through the payment gateway. The gateway accepts “Rupay” debit cards, all types of credit cards, internet banking, and UPI systems.
- Lastly, submit, for submission of the form, filling up the “captcha” is a must.

Assam University BPharm Curriculum 2025
Assam University BPharm curriculum is designed in a semester-wise format. In addition, the BPharm course is divided into eight semesters. In the first semester of the course, the college starts the syllabus with the foundational & base subjects. In further semesters, the college provides subjects more specific to Pharmacy. CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.
No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to the BPharm course at Assam University. To be eligible for admission, candidates must ensure that they score a decent score in the CUET-UG. Moreover, candidates who did not achieve a valid score in CUET-UG can get admission to the BPharm course with a merit list which is evaluated on the basis of candidates' scores in Class 12.
Assam University accepts the scores of CUET-UG scores for admission to the BPharm course. Moreover, before appearing in the entrance exam candidates must complete their Class 12 from the Science stream including both PCB/ PCM. Additionally, they must have at least an aggregate of 50%. The pharmaceutical Science department adopted the PCI norms and syllabus for the BPharm curriculum. The curriculum consists of various core papers under four major branches of Pharmacy like Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry including Pharmaceutical Analysis along with some additional papers like Pharmaceutical Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Engineering etc.
