B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry - Batch of 2028

My college is the best in several things, like atmosphere and the study level.
Placements: There are no placements in the B.Sc. course, but in the M.Sc. course, placements take place. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Many recruiting companies visit the college to hire students for my course. Roles are offered by chemical companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department is the best. My department has the biggest building in the whole university. There are many labs to perform practicals. There are the highest students in my course. The hostel is also good. There are 4 to 5 mess facilities, 3 canteens, and a playground.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They teach us in an energetic and very easy language. If we ask questions, then they answer all of those questions at any place. They also take extra classes if most students have doubts about the topic. Exams conducted are very good.
Other: I chose this course because I have a great interest in Chemistry from my school time. I love studying Chemistry. I think I need to improve my writing abilities in Chemistry, like less objective, more subjective, and teachers are also helping me with this topic.

Studying B.Sc. statistics at BHU: An in-depth personal review.
Placements: The placement in my course is in the Master's, so I can tell you about the Master's. So the percentage of students placed is 90 percent. The highest package offered is 16 LPA, with an average of around 10.8 LPA, and the lowest is around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are EY, Accenture, Dell, and JSS. Top roles offered are business analyst, data analyst, and AI/ML analyst.
Infrastructure: The department is equipped with modern facilities, including Wi-Fi all over the building, modern classrooms, a departmental library, and labs with computers for practicals. The hostel is very good, based on the price we pay, it is highly affordable, and the rooms are in good condition.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified Ph.D. holders, friendly, and highly knowledgeable in their respective fields. The course curriculum is research-based, which focuses on research activity. The semester exam is moderate, with around 60 percent of students easily passing the exam.
Other: I chose this college because it was very close to my home and it is very affordable. Placement is the best thing about my course. .

A tour to BHU, Aisa's the largest residential university.
Placements: There is very little placement in undergraduate courses, but when you do post-graduation, then you can expect a good placement opportunity from this course. The average package is approximately 10 LPA, and the highest package for this year is 19 LPA. Good companies like AstraZeneca, Deloitte, and many more companies visit us.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is world-class. We have a very good department, and we also have a departmental library in which you can get most of the subject-related books to study. We have a lecture theatre complex where classes commence, free Wi-Fi, and 4 high-tech advanced labs.
Faculty: Talking about teachers, we have highly qualified professors, as there is criteria in which you can only become a teacher in BHU after pursuing BHU and having good teaching experience. The course curriculum is mainly focused on academics in UG, but in PG it becomes a placement opportunity.
Other: The course is good and has a very high return on investment. For improvement, they can make the course more industry-ready.

B.Com (Hons.) in Financial Markets Management - Batch of 2023

Excellent university for all courses.
Placements: In B.Com (Hons), a few students got placements. As all top companies want to hire experienced students, and even students were not interested because their dreams were big, like studying CA, MBA courses. Therefore, students were not interested. But few people cracked the interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. Wi-Fi, lab, and smart classes were also available. In the hostel, Wi-Fi was provided. The library was too good, and there was a central library, and it was too big. All the books were provided there. The hostel mess was good, and the environment was also good. All seniors guided juniors.
Faculty: Teachers were very supportive and qualified. All the professors were highly qualified and had a huge amount of experience in their own field. During exam time, everyone is very serious, and professors also provided some extra notes, all this in a group. The quality of the exam hall was very good.
Other: In BHU, the crowd was very heavy in the evening. Their event and fest are also available. In the week, students' scholarships were also provided.

B.A. (Hons.) in English - Batch of 2028

College is good, but needs infrastructure development and more exposure.
Placements: I don’t know much about this yet as I’m just a fresher, but it’s not good for B.A. Hons English students. They don’t get campus recruitment or placements. Also, the B.A. degree is not really respected here. The university really needs to put in more effort to enhance skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course is good but needs maintenance because the buildings are very dirty. About the hostel, there are very few girls’ hostels. I’m 1200 km away from home and still haven’t got a hostel allotted. Also, the hostels are in very bad condition and need repair.
Faculty: The faculty is good. Professors are highly qualified professionals and are really helpful. The course is good, but the thing about the minor is not good. That is not at all relevant to our major. It wastes time and gives unnecessary stress.
Other: The course is good, but the NEP syllabus, where we have to study minor, MDC, VAC, and SEC, is totally absurd. We spend more time studying them than our major. About the minor, there must be an option to change it if not satisfied.

The Banaras Hindu University.
Placements: The university is good for studying, but in my course, the placement scene is rare. It has decent placements in institutes like IIT and IMS. So placement seen is good in these facilities. But in the reality, the placement is not that good. It has placement in foreign languages, tourism, etc. Overall, the placement is above average.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are also very nice. Students reside in a low number and get good facilities. The infrastructure of the hostel is also nice.
Faculty: The professors are highly knowledgeable and help students gain extra knowledge regarding subjects. Most professors had earned a PhD and completed their doctoral degrees. The question pattern is moderate, one has to get 33% marks to pass in the exam. As this university provides a bundle of subjects, there is no doubt that it has a variety of subjects to study so that one can achieve their aims.
Other: I chose this linguistics course because I want to explore more about language. Event organisation are also good here.
