Banaras Hindu University (BHU) offers a two-year MCA course at the postgraduate level. The course is offered in a full-time mode. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. BHU admit candidates to this course based on merit in CUET-PG conducted by NTA. BHU placements are good. Highest and average package secured by MBA students was INR 19.8 LPA and INR 10.1 LPA. Median salary stood at INR 9.2 LPA. BHU MCA Application Process 2025
The BHU application process is conducted in online mode. Students need to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 (General)/INR 800 (Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL)/INR 750 (SC/ST/Third gender)/INR 700 (PwD). The application process steps are mentioned below:

Fill the application form with all the details such as personal, educational qualifications, etc.
Upload the scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications.

BHU has a dediacted placement cell which invites prominent companies for the placement drives. During the Banaras Hindu University 2025 placement drive, more than 65 companies participated. Candidates seeking admission to MCA course at the Banaras Hindu University must have passed bachelor's degree in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates must also have Mathematics as one of the subjects in either Class 12 or at the UG level. Besides, aspirants are also required to have a valid CUET-PG score for BHU MCA admission. BHU accepts CUET-UG scores for admission to several UG courses. Candidates seeking admission to BHU must apply online to register themselves. Follow the step-wise admission process as given below:

Banaras Hindu University course admissions is entrance-based for most of the programmes. Thus, one-year dropper student can apply for the desired course, however, qualifying the respective entrance is the a must. Apart from this, aspirant should meet the course-specific minimum eligibility requirements as well.
Moreover, the student can be asked to submit an application regarding the reason for drop out. Sometimes even this is not required.
