College placement is not so good, their percentage is very low.
Placements: The strength of my class is 79. Almost all students get an internship. Colleges offer students the opportunity to got internship from another college or industry. If they do not approach any industry or college, then the college itself provides the internship. The average package forwarded in my courses is Rs. 50000 per month.
Infrastructure: Lab in the first and 2nd semester is done once a week, and in the third semester it is twice a week, and in the 4th semester it is 4 days a week. There are two batches of Chemistry. The maximum number of students doing lab together is 30 or more.
Faculty: The teaching quality is more than good. Except few teachers, others are helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, and it may make students industry-ready. Exams are not so difficult. If you study, then you will pass easily, but if you don't study, it is very difficult to pass. The passing mark is 40 out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because Chemistry is magical. I see colour changes and fluorescence on adding the reagent. It is not so boring, and I enjoy learning it. There are so many events, there are almost 5 or 6 events occurring in a month, crowd campuses also very rich. There is also a scholarship for the student who needs it. Extracurricular activities are also there but for those who are interested, no one is forcing you to do so.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2029
Offered by Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi

If you want a good package, then you should join this college.
Placements: Almost 95-96 percent of students in electrical have been placed. The highest package given is 1.2 crore per annum, which was in the field of cybersecurity. The lowest is around 12 LPA, and the average package is around 27 LPA, while the median is around 30 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Texas Instruments, Microsoft, and Nvidia. Around 50 percent of students from electrical engineering grab an internship. Specifically, this year, 55 students got an internship. [8 core and rest non-core ] Top roles include SDE, cybersecurity, VLSI designer, etc.
Infrastructure: Sometimes there is a problem with Wi-Fi connectivity in our hostel rooms. The library is very good, and it contains all types of books that are required. Classrooms are okay. Labs are very good, but some of the equipment has mechanical errors. The medical facility is excellent. Food quality depends on which type of mess you have joined, like in a sattvik mess, where Jain food is served, the quality of food is excellent compared to other messes. The sports facility is also very good. The canteen also provides good food.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, and they are also very down-to-earth, as they help every student in need. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready if they have to go to core jobs on the side. If we attend all classes and make notes, then there will be no difficulty in passing the exams. Almost 94 percent of the students pass the course.

B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2029
Offered by Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi
4.2
5Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Absolutely satisfied with my college IIT BHU because of facilities and good placement in 2026.
Placements: In the electronics branch, the placement percentage is approximately 81 percent. The highest package is 90 LPA, the lowest is 7.5 LPA, and the average is 23.5 LPA. Top companies are Google, Microsoft, and Nvidia. 40 percent of students got internships in core jobs, where the major company was Nvidia, and a few also got internships in SDE. Roles include VLSI, embedded systems, and PCB.
Infrastructure: The facilities are very good at IIT BHU. Wi-Fi covers the entire campus, and classrooms are fully modernized. There are 4 lecture theatres in our college. For freshers, IIT BHU has the best hostel among all IITs, named PC Ray Hostel, which covers all required infrastructure and is newly made, so it looks aesthetic as well. There are 3 huge grounds in IIT BHU, which cover facilities for all sports. We have SAC for indoor games and a newly made gym, which is the biggest sports auditorium as well.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good, though not as awesome as JEE teachers. The course curriculum is relevant too. Semester exams are decent, and the difficulty level is good. I chose Electronics Engineering because it is the backbone of modern technology, from AI hardware to communication systems. At IIT BHU, the best thing is the 'Open Lab' culture and the technical societies. I’ve already started diving into circuit design, where I’ve learned that relying on nodal analysis is often more reliable than mesh rules when dealing with the complex, multi-source branches common in advanced electronics.
Other: Living in Varanasi offers a unique blend of heritage and high-tech education. The campus is vast and green. I’m particularly excited about joining the Club of Electronics (the technical club under the SNTC), which provides a great platform for freshers to work on robotics and embedded systems projects.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics - Batch of 2025
4.2
2Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Our college is the best for serious students.
Placements: There were very few placement offers, because most of the students preferred higher studies in their respective fields. Actually, since there was no specific placement cell for UG students, there was a very low number of students who got placed, i.e., 30-40 percent of students were getting placed or less than that.
Infrastructure: There was a decent hostel in our college, which was not too good, but there were some basic facilities provided by the hostel, like free Wi-Fi, and there was also a place for playing outdoor games. Overall, it was 7/10, and the infrastructure of the course was good. You don't have much pressure, you have time to explore new things and find your interests.
Faculty: There were very highly qualified teachers from all over the top universities like IIT, IISC. There was no doubt in their qualification, and they were very helpful in nature. I would say, here also, they preferred textbook studying rather than practical knowledge. The semester exam in the first 2 years was not that tough if you study regularly basis, it can be manageable, actually, you can score well in your semester exam. There was a 70-80 percent pass percentage.
Other: See if you are interested in Physics and want to learn Physics, and understand the core concepts of Physics, then I would say choose BHU ( if u don't get IISER, IISC, NISER). It's too good compared to any college you get from CUET. There were so many facilities for students and a very good environment for me. The only thing I was really obsessed with was the library of this campus, it's amazing. There were events, but not like IITs or NITs, but not bad.

B.Tech. in Dairy Technology - Batch of 2029

Average for dairy, above average for college life.
Placements: The placement scenario of the college is moderate. On average, students receive salary packages ranging from 5 to 6 LPA. Lactalis, Amul and Vadilal visit the campus for recruitment. The placements at the college are average, but the table and its BHU, so in future it will develop for sure.
Infrastructure: The college has good and well-maintained infrastructure that supports both academic and extracurricular activities. Our college is big, but our department isn't; we need more strength as students and as teachers, too. Classrooms and laboratories are properly equipped. Only ICAR students can get a hostel (SRK HOSTEL).
Faculty: The curriculum focuses on strengthening core concepts and making students industry-ready. The syllabus is designed as per ICAR, and laboratory work, assignments, and co-curricular activities are also included. Faculty members actively support the learning process, making complex topics easier to understand.

B.A. (Hons.) in Arts - Batch of 2028
Offered by Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Banaras Hindu University

2Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Banaras Hindu University, is good value for money.
Placements: There is a training and placement cell of each department, like social science, arts, etc., on the main campus. Placements highly depend on the student's individual CV or skills. An internship has been made mandatory in the third year under the NEP curriculum. My advice is that students should enhance their skills and also look for off-campus opportunities instead of solely depending on campus placements, especially if they are from the arts course.
Infrastructure: In Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, labs for science students are well-equipped and maintained. Classes are held regularly. There is free Wi-Fi for all students, including hostellers and day scholars. As our university is really old, some buildings have slightly degraded, but new buildings are also there with better infrastructure. Mess food and hostels are also average to above average in accordance with the fees. But one hostel is under construction in MMV as of now, so not all girls have been allotted a hostel.
Faculty: This is one area where MMV is ahead of FMC, especially in the arts department. Professors are so kind and professional. They teach regularly and send related materials. The teaching quality is definitely above average. Semester exams are not that tough, and one can easily pass if they follow classes.
Other: The best thing about being a BHU main campus student is facilities. We get free bus service, Wi-Fi, libraries, and a wide network of students and professors to connect with. We can connect with IIT and IMS students if we want. We can also be a part of events. There are clubs and societies too. We also get government scholarships.
