I'm absolutely satisfied with the faculty, hostel, and amenities.

Placements: Around 90% of people were placed in our college placements. The companies give us good salary packages. Various companies like Bharat Petroleum, ICICI bank, SBI, and many startups came for placements and the college was highly supportive throughout the process of placements. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Infrastructure: Our college has regular classes with well-managed labs. The hostels are good and newly made (mostly). Faculty members are very supportive and are always ready to help you out in whichever way possible, be it in terms of semesters, practicals, or anything else. The food provided to us is good.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are very well qualified and have good knowledge of their subjects. The course curriculum is highly updated and is very relevant. Semester exams are not too difficult and mostly everyone passes. You just need to be clear on the basic concepts.

Placements: About 80% of students have been placed but not after pursuing B.Sc as B.Sc in geology is not sufficient for jobs, particularly in the field of geology. However, after pursuing M.Sc in geology, about 80% of students have been placed. They get a salary package of 12 LPA to the lowest of 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostels are much better here than in other colleges like private colleges as Banasthali is a semi-government college. There are many libraries department-wise and a central library also. Canteens are good enough, but the food served in them is expensive. Medical facilities are very good, and Banasthali is famous for its curricular activities like horse riding, archery gym, aerobics, etc.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful in most of the ways. The teaching staff members of geology are very good and work very hard for students. Exams are difficult but not much. Semester exams are a little bit tough if you don't pay attention in the class. The course is relevant, and it will help you to pass many government jobs exams.

Other: I chose this course as this course is less known and is rarely chosen by students. I like studying about the earth. I wish we could get jobs after graduation, but M.Sc is compulsory to get them. An annual function is organised by the departments on their own.
