B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026
5.0
Excellent place to learn, explore, and have a great life of living.
Placements: Our previous batch was 100% placed. The highest package is 18 LPA. Recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, Barclays, BNY, JP Morgan, Deloitte, and many more. 100% of students got internships in big companies as software developer. All the students got internships there. Our college provides very good placement.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are excellent. Classrooms are well designed, and they have library in each department. Wi-Fi facilities are there in the hostels, and labs have AC. Hostel facilities are amazing. The food quality is also good, and everything is just so perfect there.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful. Teaching quality is also excellent. It makes students industry-ready, they have their workshops for that. 90% of students pass the exams. Everyone can pass the exams easily if they have their concept clear.

The college is very good. Overall, it is top-of-the-line.
Placements: Placement is good enough. There are almost 90% of students got placed from B.Tech computer science. The highest package is 30 LPA, and the lowest package is 8 LPA. Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and big recruiting companies visits our college. 70% of students crack the on-campus internship interview in 3rd year. Roles that are offered by companies are associate software developer, trainee role, analyst, consulting roles and many more.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure looks luxurious, with the big campus area. All meetings, session rooms and classes have high-level infrastructure provided by the college. All the necessary facilities one needs like Wi-Fi accessibility, labs, library, etc., everything is provided. If I talk about the hostel facilities, Banasthali Vidyapith focuses on maintaining hygiene while cooking. Every hostel is allotted one warden especially to look after the food cooked in the mess. Canteen facilities are very good, college itself have their hospital inside the campus. Multiple sports facilities are provided, college takes students for the tournament as well, etc.
Faculty: The college academic session is excellent. Teachers here are well-qualified with Ph.D. and master level. The teaching quality is very good. They eventually help students to make them industry-ready by giving them great practical knowledge. Semester exams are not so tough if the student studied. Pass percentage is around 30%-40%.
Other: The purpose I chose this college is the main reason for security purpose. College is such a safe place to be, without any doubt. The best thing I experienced about my course is having multiple technical hackathons, and industry-level experts come and you get to learn a lot from them. The only thing I wish would get better in the college is the restrictions they put. Every year there are multiple fests, events, and scholarship programs conducted by the college itself.

Banasthali Vidyapith is like a family.
Placements: From a placement perspective, Banasthali Vidyapith is a very good college. I passed out during the recession and got a job at Accenture from Banasthali Vidyapith. Even in a recession, placements are about 80% in the computer science course. The highest package is 25 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 9 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Barclays, JP Morgan, BOA, and Deloitte visit Banasthali for placements. A 6-months internship is mandatory in the 4th year and Banasthali itself provides internships at DRDO, IITs, and other government sectors. They are unpaid, but Banasthali Vidyapith covers every course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the computer science branch is very good and they are developing more properly. It has a Wi-Fi connection in labs and the library. Classrooms have a projector and speakers. Overall, it is good for studies. Hostels are pretty good as Banasthali is only a girls' college so they have more security for girls in the hostel. Once we enter on campus of Banasthali, we can't leave without our parent's permission but the campus itself is like a city. It is too big.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. Especially in the computer science course, teachers have good knowledge. 75% of attendance is mandatory in class. Semester exams are fully based on whatever they teach in class. The pass percentage is 33% and can be easily achievable.
Other: Even though it is only a girl's college, but we can enjoy a lot there. Fests organised are excellent and it feels like family at Banasthali.

The campus experience of Banasthali Vidyapith.
Placements: 100% placement is guaranteed. In my batch, out of 236 students, only 9 are not placed. The average package is 6 LPA, the minimum package is 3.5 LPA, and the highest package is 14 LPA. Most of my batchmates are in JP Morgan, Accenture, and TCS.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is given in labs only with permission when needed like have any interviews during class hours. Every department has its own library, and there is also a common library. The hostel has a lot of common areas and a big mess hall. The food is tasty, and the weekly menu is pre-decided, but dishes can be changed upon request by the warden.
Faculty: Questions in periodicals are average, but the semester papers are unpredictable. There are two periodicals every semester, and the syllabus is divided section-wise. The 60-mark semester exam is divided into three sections. Generally, grievances are done in the first year, only as the topics are not in-depth.
Other: The fest takes place during the day and closes by 8 PM unless it is the cultural night of the fest. Every department has its own fest. Scholarships are provided for needy students by the founder.

Overall, the college is good. The only drawback that I see is that it's a close campus college.
Placements: Since it's a girls college, companies especially come to recruit girls as to maintain the sex ratio at their respective companies. One of the top companies that came this year was Goldmann Sachs. They gave internships to 4 girls. If you have a good CGPA and have developed various skills, then there are chances that you will be recruited by a good company. Most of the girls get placed, as our college tries very hard to get 100% placement. Placements are good here, especially in the computer science and information technology branches. Our college tries to provide internships to every student.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good. Like some departments have been newly constructed, so they are pretty nice. Every department has separate washrooms for staff and students that are cleaned regularly. Labs are fantastic. Computer labs are present in each department and can be used by any student for work-related activities. Each department has their own library. Also, a separate library is present on the campus. Facilities in my hostel are pretty good. The food quality is average. Canteens, restaurants, and hospitals are also present on my campus. Various games and sports are played here. Aviation, shooting, horseriding, etc. are also taught here.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. They are helpful, and if you face any problem in their respective course, you can confront them without any problem. My course is computer science, so coding is a big part of it, and they are teaching me. For example, right now I have DSA, which is data structure and algorithm. Next semester I will have OOPS in C+, and then in my third year I have Java. So in short, they are teaching all the important languages that are required in this industry. The semester exams are pretty difficult. They are of 100 marks.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in coding. Though I wish my college hadn't added 3 foundation subjects to my course. Foundation subjects are extra subjects that are being taught in my course. Many events and festivals take place here. Students here take part in each event with enthusiasm. A scholarship exam also takes place for students who are financially well. Extracurricular activities take place after 5 in the evening. Various dance and song groups are also present here.

A tour through Banasthali.
Placements: Approximately 90% of students were placed last year. Top recruiting companies were IBM, Flipkart, WIPRO, TCS, etc. The top roles offered included Software Development Engineer, Data Analyst, etc. The highest package was, I guess, 32 LPA by Flipkart, the lowest I literally have no idea, and the average package goes around 12-15 LPA. Internship percentage was approximately 95% in companies like JPMC, UBS, Flipkart, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, and so is our college building with Wi-Fi-equipped labs, classrooms, and halls. But talking about the food we receive in our hostels, it’s yuck. I mean, I can never be a fan of Banasthali’s menu, as the quality of food is so disgusting, even after paying a heavy amount for hostel facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members were quite helpful, though some were absolutely tough to deal with. Most of them encouraged students to focus on their career and studies. Most of my faculty members were Ph.D. holders, so no doubt they were quite knowledgeable. Basically, I would say the teaching quality is quite good here. Enrolling in this course would make you 70-80% industry-ready, and the rest depends on your calibre. Talking about the difficulty levels, one can easily clear the exams by simply focusing on subjects and attending lectures. Some subjects were tough too, but they can be managed with self-attention to the particular subject.

Banasthali Vidyapeeth review about the infrastructure, college life, and placements.
Placements: Placement is 100% guaranteed. Companies like IBM, Flipkart, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture and Visa are some companies that recruit students. Almost all the students get internships from the above-mentioned companies and also from all other companies. Students get good stipend from these companies.
Infrastructure: 85% of the infrastructure is new as compared to the decades-old university. All the labs are Wi-Fi equipped with the latest LCDs and software. Classrooms are properly ventilated and have a capacity of 150 students. The quality of the food and other facilities are good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. It is a bit difficult to prepare for the semester exams but the teachers prepare us quite well. Since the papers are prepared outside the university, the teachers prepare the students well for the written as well as external exams.

Banasthali Vidyapeeth: Short review.
Placements: Placements are good, as we have heard from our seniors and passing out batch. Mostly computer science students are placed. Good companies visit the campus . Students are placed in companies like Oracle, JP Morgan , Accenture, Deloitte, and American Express.
Infrastructure: Good hostel and food is okay. On Tuesdays, food is really good. Wi-Fi facilities are fine but they are available only after 5 pm in the evening. On Tuesdays, wifi is available the whole day. The library is really good. It has all kinds of books needed for your course. The labs are air conditioned.
Faculty: Semester exam difficulty level is good. Teachers are good in Btech courses. 2 periodicals of 10 marks are each taken in each semester. There are 2 breaks: one midterm break during Diwali and one after the academic year ends. Periodic difficulty level is medium only.
Other: Apaji Fest is good. It takes place in the month of November. Good fests are there. Many stalls, many swings and good decorations are there.

They conduct their own entrance exam so JEE Mains is not important. Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2021 Eligibility Criteria - BTech. 60% aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM). For SC/ ST candidates the minimum eligibility is 40% aggregate in 10+2 with subjects as above.
