Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) - Batch of 2026

Small infrastructure with extensive knowledge and scope.
Placements: Student placement is around 90-95%, and it depends on the performance of the student in the interview. The median of the college is between 6 and 8 LPA. Approximately 95% got internships. I got a project coordinator role. Before my final placement, the college allowed us to do jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is small but has all the facilities related to study. Wi-Fi works fine, and there are 2 computer labs and also Bloomberg terminals, with which you can get certification. There are two libraries. I don’t know about the quality of the hostel and food.
Faculty: All faculty members have an MBA degree, and the majority of the faculty have a Ph.D. in their specialization. The knowledge of the faculty is good, and the curriculum of the syllabus is updated according to industry requirements, which provides more help to the students.

Good academics with decent placements and supportive faculty - IIBS college review 2026.
Placements: I am currently pursuing PGDM (2024 - 2026). Recently, I got placed in a 14 LPA job in a company called Happy Equity. Nearly 60 to 70 percent of students have already been placed this year. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte, IBM, Infosys, etc. I have a good experience here, and the placement department is supportive.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have centralized ACs, and the students are extremely comfortable with the libraries and hostel, where we can expect good food and hygiene. Sports are conducted every academic year. Apart from that, indoor games are always available on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful and have corporate experience of 5 to 6 years on average. They guide each and every individual intellectually. The curriculum is relevant and helps us study in depth regarding the specializations we choose. As we have the trimester system, we are given sufficient time to prepare for the exams.
Other: The reason I chose this course is that PGDM has wide experiential learning opportunities, and it helps to gain skills in the specialization that I chose. The events and the trips we are offered here are highly appreciable, as they encourage the diverse culture of our country.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) - Batch of 2028

Okay, faculty, decent placements, not much of a Campus.
Placements: The highest package is 9.5LPA and the average package is 3.75LPA. Top recruiting companies are Big 4s, Grant Thornton, and Goldman Sachs. Mandatory Internship after 4th semester and students are placed by the college placement cell. Roles offered are Audit associate/analyst, Tax roles.
Infrastructure: Desks with charging points and projectors in the classroom, college Wi-Fi available, a great library with reference books for all professional courses and computers for research. College canteen, big classrooms Hostel has Wi-Fi, washing machines, gym and canteen.
Faculty: Few M.Com graduates are teachers but teachers with Ph.D. S too. B.Com regular teaching is not that good. It makes students industry ready by making presentations and speeches mandatory for internal assessment. Moderately difficult semester exams with a good pass percentage.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Professional) - Batch of 2029

Dissatisfied with teaching.
Placements: My course is related to the field of finance. There are many roles, like asset manager, portfolio manager, equity research analyst, financial analyst, etc. In our college, to be placed in a good company, you need hard skills and soft skills. The average package you can expect is 6+ LPA, and it depends.
Infrastructure: The college advertises that they have fully equipped Wi-Fi facilities, but none of them know the password to use them. Classrooms are pretty good, fully ventilated, and there are smart boards too. We have a good library and a total of three libraries. The canteen is good and enjoyable too.
Faculty: Most of the teachers who handle B.Com subjects don't teach well, but the staff who handle professional course subjects teach pretty well. The exams are very easy. There is no need to get stressed about exams. The college says they have hired qualified staff, but it's not 100% true. Some teachers handle subjects well, but most of them don't. And for the first two semesters, they teach 11th and 12th grades, so I feel like the first year is a waste.
Other: There is no fest in the college, and most of the events are based on studies only.

Minimum satisfaction with the faculty, average placements in 2024 .
Placements: In our course, almost 70% of students are placed in various companies. The highest package this year is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA, with an average package of 8 LPA. The guidance from the placement team is very good. The placement team conducted various sessions and webinars to build our communication skills and help us understand the work environment. Our hard work also plays a crucial role in getting placements.
Infrastructure: In our course, the infrastructure is good. There are two libraries in the college, various books are available for reading, and the space in the library is spacious and peaceful. In the college, there is a separate common room for girls. A medical room is also available in the college for emergencies, and they provide medicine as well. The infrastructure in the classrooms is also good; there are digital boards.
Faculty: In the college, teachers are very friendly. They help with academics and other things, like research papers, certifications, etc. Most of the syllabus in our course is practical, and industrial visits are also arranged for our batch to companies like Titan and Coca-Cola for a real work environment experience.
Other: I chose this course because I am from a commerce background. The things that need to be improved in the course are the timings; it is from 9:30 to 5:30, so we didn't have any time to do other certifications in the first year. Coming to the college fests and events, they were too good. Every festival is celebrated in college in a better way.

To summarize, IIBS is a good college for PGDM and MBA, with good facilities for the students.
Placements: The college has connections in the industry, and placements are provided for students. Most marketing companies come. As a Data Science student, not many opportunities are provided but overall it is good. Companies like Siemens, Brillio, TCS, and many more come for different roles.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure with tools and equipment. It has seminar halls to conduct events, meetings, or seminars. The college has a good crowd with yearly fests and functions. It includes a library with good quality reference books, hostels for all students and Wi-Fi in each room for the smooth conduct of classes.
Faculty: Being a PGDM batch, it has 6 semesters over 2 years. Each semester is 3 months long, with frequent exams and good industry exposure for students. The curriculum is practical-based which is good for students to gain hands-on experience in the industry they want to enter.
