BAU Ranchi admissions are entrance-based for BSc. 15% of the total seats are filled by a Combined Competitive Entrance Examination conducted by I.C.A.R. V.C.I. at All India level and 85% of the total seats are filled by Jharkhand Combined Competitive Entrance Examination Board, Ranchi. After the selection process is completed, selected candidates need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the university.
Birsa Agricultural University offers BSc (Hons) Agriculture and Forestry for four-years each at the UG level. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry or Biology/ Mathematics can apply for BAU Ranchi BSc (Hons) course. Semester system of education is followed in the University. Each semester consists of approximately 115 working days.
