To download the BUMAT 2025 results, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below:
- Log on to the official BVDU website- bvuniversity.in or registered Email ID
- Enter your Email ID and Registered mobile number and click on ‘submit’
- Scorecard is displayed
- Download the scorecard by clicking on ‘download’
Each scorecard carries candidates' overall scores, sectional scores and rank. Based on this rank and institutional quota a merit list is prepared. This merit list contains the names of candidates selected for the counselling round.

In case candidate score equal aggregate marks then their ranking will be determined on the basis of the following order of preference:
- If equal, the candidates will be ranked according to their percentage of marks obtained at HSC or its equivalent examination
- If equal, the candidates will be ranked according to their percentage of marks scored at SSC or its equivalent examination
- When all the above scores are the same, the candidates will be ranked on the basis of computerized random numbering

In case of any discrepancy in the BUMAT scorecard, candidates must immediately contact at the helpline number of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University)
BUMAT 2026 exam will be conducted tentatively in second week of June. Candidates who will register for the exam will be able to appear for the BUMAT exam. The examination for Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) UG 2026 admissions will be held in computer based mode. Candidates had to report at the alloted exam centre. BUMAT exam was conducted for a duration of 120 minutes. As per the BUMAT exam pattern, the question paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions. Candidates had to choose a correct answer among the four options provided. There was no negative marking for any wrong answer or not attempted question. Candidates wothout BUMAT admit card were not permitted to enter the BUMAT exam centre.

Candidates obtaining valid score in BUMAT exam will be eligible to appear for the counselling process. During the BUMAT counselling, on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate, college is alloted.
To appear for the BUMAT counselling process, candidates must keep the following documents ready:
- Letter of counselling
- Proof of date of birth
- School Leaving Certificate
- Class X mark sheet
- Class XII mark sheet
- Graduation mark sheet
- Transfer Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Anti-ragging undertaking
- Gap certificate ( if applicable)

- An affidavit (available in the brochure) signed by the candidate and countersigned by the parent/guardian
- Six recent passport-size photos with the candidate’s name written on the backside

BUMAT 2026 counselling will be conducted in July 2026. The candidate will be offered admission based on their rank in the final merit list, the score obtained in the BUMAT exam, and the availability of seats for a particular programme at the candidate's chosen Institute at the time of BUMAT counselling and admission to the desired programme and Institute. Mere appearance in the computer centre-based entrance test and inclusion of name in BUMAT merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the institute. The selection and admission to the programme is subject to fulfilling the BUMAT eligibility criteria. Candidates failing to meet the prescribed BUMAT eligbility criteria will be disqualied.
Soon after the declaration of BUMAT results, candidates will have to appear for the counselling process. If the candidate has obtained well in BUMAT exam and have met the eligibility criteria, he/she will be called for the counselling process by various institutions accpeting BUMAT scores. Candidates will have to fill the application form for the institute they are interested in. Candidates will be required to submit the relevant documents to appear for the counselling process. Based on the BUMAT scores and cutoff trends candidates can apply for the courses offered through BUMAT socres. After completing the necessary procedure, merit list is declared. Candidates who are shortlisted will have to confirm their acceptance on receiving the acceptance letter.
