Bharati Vidyapeeth laid down the important instructions for candidates appearing for BUMAT exam in either online or offline mode.
Bharati Vidyapeeth conducts BUMAT exam in centre-based or home-based mode. To appear for the exam, candidates must ensure to apply for the entrance exam and pay the application fee. BUMAT exam 2026 will be held tentatively in third week of June 2026 in CBT mode. Students will have to appear at the designated exam centre in the city chosen while filling the application form and follow the BUMAT exam day instrauctions. Candidates can check the allotted exam centre address and city on release of the BUMAT admit card. BVDU will release the hall tickets three to four days before the date of BUMAT 2026 exam. Candidates desiring to appear for the BUMAT exam must check the important exam-taking instructions for the centre-based online entrance test.
BUMAT 2026: Centre Based Exam Centre Instructions
To appear for the BUMAT exam 2026, candidates must follow the blow instructions for exam centre:
- Candidates must note the gate closing time mentioned on the BUMAT admit card and reach the exam centre accordingly.
- Student must ensure to carry BUMAT admit card along with any of the identity card ( Voter Identity Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport or Aadhar Card etc.)

Instructions for Question Paper
- It is compulsory to attempt all the questions. For every question, four options will be provided out of which one option will be a correct answer.
- One question will be displayed at a time
- The marking of the question will be displayed at the top right corner of each question.
- There will be no negative marking for any unattempted question or wrong answer.
- The medium of paper will be English.
- Candidates can attempt the question in any sequence.
- The remaining time will be displayed continuously on the top right corner of the question paper.
- Candidates can ask any doubt to the invigilator before the commencement of the exam. No query will be entertained once the exam begins.
- Candidates will be provided with an extra rough sheet. However, all the rough sheets must be submitted once the exam is finished.

Instructions for Answering Questions
- To answer the questions, test takers must click on the correct option. The selected option will be highlighted and shall be treated as the answer given.
- If the test taker does not wish to answer the question, he/she must not click on any options and click on the tab ‘next’
- Candidates can ‘bookmark’ questions to review before submitting.
- Candidates can navigate between questions by clicking on next/previous or by simply clicking on the question number displayed in the summary report.
Instructions for Preview and Submission
- The answers will be saved automatically when the candidate navigates to next question.
- Candidates can modify their responses before the paper is auto-submitted.
- Once the examination time has passed, candidates cannot answer any questions, and the responses already provided will be automatically submitted.
- A ‘Thank You’ message will appear after the completion of the exam.
Candidates can be disqualified/debarred by the chief proctor of the exam centre for any of the following reasons:
- Creating unnecessary disturbance.
- Attempting to take examination for someone else.
- Giving/receiving any kind of assistance during the examination from the candidate or any other outsider.
- Candidates eat or smoke in the examination hall.
- Attempting to temper with the operations of the computer or meddling with the system.
- Exchanging any document, paper or any other material with other test takers.
- Leaving the BUMAT exam centre without the permission of the invigilator.
- Using prohibited items such as pens, pencils, scales, paper, book, notebooks, calculator, watch calculator, mobile phones, health bands, electronic gadgets, jewellery of any kind and so forth,.
- Candidates will be asked to remove their jacket, footwear, socks, and sunglasses before entering the examination centre.
- Attempting to access any unauthorised program/software during the BUMAT exam
- Failing to follow the invigilator.
- Manhandling of invigilators or test centre staff.
- Resorting to any unfair means.
- Not maintaining silence in the examination hall.

Yes, candidates must appear for the BUMAT exam to appear for the BBA admission process at BVU. The university does not accept any other entrance examination scores.
