    Q:   What are the placement opportunities for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering at Bharati Vidyapeeth college like?

    A:
    {Source: B.Tech students & alumni}

    Based on the review, here is how the placements fare for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering at Bharati Vidyapeeth. Here are the specifics below;

    1. The placement rate is moderately high, ranging from 10% - 20%. This means some students may need additional resources or effort to secure employment outside of the traditional campus recruitment process.
    2. The average package offers vary between courses, with the highest recorded salary package of approximately $89,000 LPA (which includes all branches).
    3. While the highest salaries tend to be in software fields like IT, the top roles for civil engineers seem focused on entry-level positions such as Junior Engineers or Site Engineers.
    4. Some notable recruiting companies included L&T infrastructure and Deepak Fertilizers, with roles such as Graduate Engineer Trainees. However, the recruitment drive isn't limited to these few companies, as other organizations also participate in campus hiring events.
    5. Internships appear widely available for students through their respective colleges, although the specific companies offering them may differ based on each student's programme or specialisation area within civil engineering.
    6. It's essential to note that while some students received higher packages, averaging around $52,000 LPA, others reported lower starting salaries ranging from 4$60,000 LPA. This variation could depend on factors such as individual performance during interviews or assessments conducted by recruiters. 7. Core sectors like construction and infrastructure have fewer opportunities for campus placements compared to IT industries.

    These points summarize the placement scenario for B.Tech. In Civil Engineering at Bharati Vidyapeeth based on five reviews.

    Everything you need to know about BVCOEW .
    Placements: Companies start coming in early in the 7th semester, i.e., the 4th year of the course. Companies that have visited include Western Union, BNY Mellon, HP, Amdocs, FIS, Vodafone, Capgemini, etc. In 2023-24, the highest package was 22 LPA from Western Union, with 10-8 LPA packages offered by BNY Mellon, FIS, and Western Union. There are mentors for T&P who help students prepare for their placements and encourage them in entrepreneurship.
    Infrastructure: After admission, I thought the infrastructure of the college was not that good. But after visiting another college, I've realized that the infrastructure of this college is far better than any other. All facilities, from the library and common room to play board games, to the sick room, have been developed over the year. Wi-Fi, the library, digital library, etc., are also available.
    Faculty: The qualification of faculty is mostly Ph.D., pursuing Ph.D., and Master’s degrees. They have good faculty. I really liked my first-year faculty. The curriculum is easy if you study. They are strict but very supportive when you need them. After admission and the induction program is done, unit tests are held 1 or 1.5 months later, followed by the midterm exam. However, this year, as the curriculum has changed, there is no midterm exam, so they might take unit tests for internal marking.
    Other: Attendance for the students should be made mandatory, but 75% is too much. How will students manage everything if they are day scholars and trying to learn new skills? Campus life is good. It will be hectic for day scholars as they miss out on campus life. Events like the cultural fest are held between February and March, followed by the tech fest right after. The campus is surrounded by trees and is a lush green environment.

    Our college is basically a 2 tier college with average placement, nice and coorperative staff.
    Placements: 80% students get placed. The lowest package is 3 LPA, the highest is 24 LPA offered by phonepe. Average package is 5 LPA. Phonepe is among the top recruiters. Internships are not offered by our college. Developed role is the most offered role in our college .
    Infrastructure: Whole campus has Wi-Fi, classes have digital smart board and labs and library are also equipped with computers, but they are not air conditioned, they just have fans. Boys' hostels are too bad and their food quality is also not good meanwhile girls hostel are three in number and they have excellent food quality.
    Faculty: Teachers are really cooperative and they have sufficient knowledge of their subject. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant because a student learns DSA and networking at the same time. Sem exams are quite difficult. Most students get backlogs in their exams you need to study atleast a week before exams to score excellent marks.
    Other: This is the oldest course and has the maximum number of placements and best placement records in our college. Bhartiyam is our annual fest which is held in month of March and has many events.

    You can consider it a good option as it has a diverse crowd.
    Placements: Placements are quite average, like INR 6-7 LPA, and have a quite average training and placement cell. They would work upon your talent and look for good opportunities for your placement, just like any other college, but would have a better one.
    Infrastructure: The college hostel is disappointing with its fee of INR 1.2 LPA, including the mess. The hostel building structure is very disappointing, as only first-year students can take admission there, not any other students. It's not well maintained; you can have better opportunities at this price.
    Faculty: Quite average curriculum like other colleges, you have to maintain 75% attendance as they are quite strict about it, and you would have to face two unit tests in the semester and a final semester exam at the end. You would have a burden regarding practicals and assignments.
    Other: Before taking admission, first try to visit campus.

    Hostel life shines amongst good infrastructure.
    Placements: The placement in this college is below average. Not many companies visit the campus for campus placements. The training and placement cell is not capable of completing the requirements. The average salary offered is below 5 LPA this year and the median salary is 6 LPA. Even the big recruiters like Wipro are not visiting the campus.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very average; every department consists of the necessary things and dedicated labs. The hostel is the best thing about this college. You can enjoy your life to the fullest in a hostel. However, the hostel food quality is similar to that shown in the movies.
    Faculty: The faculty here is very average. 99% of the faculty members are local to Maharashtra so you might face some language barriers in understanding. Some of the faculty members are so ignorant in their behavior; however, you'll have some faculty members who are actually helping you get your heights.
    Other: There is an annual techno-cultural fest in this college called Bharatiyam, which is one of the best times of the year. Here, you get to know your skills and what you need to contribute to the fest. That's the most fascinating thing.

    Absolutely satisfied with the college.
    Placements: This year, about 50% students were placed in my course. The highest package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Almost all the students got internships from my branch of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in multinational companies and startups.
    Infrastructure: We have a decent infrastructure and facilities available for our course. We are provided with a high-speed Wi-Fi for internet connection. We have enough number of labs and classrooms for our classes and practicals. We have a library, canteen, medical facilities and a sports clubs.
    Faculty: We have helpful teachers who are qualified and knowledgeable. The faculty members have good teaching quality. The curriculum is very relevant and it makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are a bit difficult and the percentage to clear the exams is 40%.
